Rated #27 for all Macau hotels
Room was very spacious as well as a big bathroom. The hotel shuttle bus to/from city centre goes every half an hour but we waited for nearly one hour for a pick up at the city centre pick up. The hotel has a huge indoor heated pool although we didn't get to use it.Overall i definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again....

The location of the hotel was ideal - it is about 15 minutes walk to the old city centre and the view from the hotel was fantastic. Value for money!!

The buffet in 1st floor restaurant is quite nice and not expensive. but the hotel location is not very convenient. The room and bathroom are not big enough if that is really a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is rated 5 star but the amenities, furnishing, condition of the hotel is that of a 3 star. The hotel star rating does not correctly reflect the conditon of the hotel.

The hotel is located in the historical section of Macau about 10 minutes walk to the city. There is a free shuttle bus that leaves the hotel every half hour that circles the city and goes to the pier .The rooms are a good size for this part of the world and are very quiet. The food in the restuarant is of a high standard and not expensive. The walks behind the hotel are spectacular.Overall ,very good value if you dont mind staying a littlle out of the city.

This is an older property, situated away from the action in the southern part of the island, which did create issues when looking for taxis at night. The staff were lovely, the room tired but tolerable, and it was certainly quiet. It was good value for money, although hardly 5 star.

Overall our visit to the hotel was pleasant. The original room that we were booked into was in the non-smoking section of the hotel - we had requested a smoking room when we made the reservation, we were moved into another room in the older section of the hotel that I felt was of a lesser value with a poor view of the ocean. Most of the Front Desk staff were helpful and friendly with the expection of a couple of staff members who seemed annoyed when asked questions or asked for help with requests. When all of the renovations to the hotel are complete, the hotel will be outstanding and exhibit all of the 5 star qualities that would be expected from a hotel with a 5 star rating. The concerige staff demonstrated an outstanding level of service.

Area is very quiet and view is very good. Room is clean and service is very good. room size is very good. Not too small and just right. It doesn't have any smell of tobacco even though its a smoking room. The bathroom is clean and no problem.

Ritz Hotel doesn't offer the five stars service that you expect in this kind of this hotel. The view was just a wall in front of us. You need a shuttle bus that the hotel offers you every half an hour. No playground or area for kids. It was quite cheap comparing with other hotels.

What I like most about this hotel is staff friendliness and their willing to help. Especially, if the only language you can speak is English, you might need to consider more about a hotel you plan to live because most Macau people don't speak English. At Ritz Hotel, I feel comfortable to stay here. The room is clean and nice. Choose room with a view is my recommendation. This hotel is quite peaceful and having nice view. The Hotel's shuttle bus can bring you to downtown and ferry terminal every thirty minutes, or you can tell staff to call taxi, which is cheap in Macau. Overall, I am happy about this hotel, and I will stay at Ritz again if I come back to Macau.

Hotel provide kettle and chinese tea bags free but do not provide teaspoon or utensils for stirring. It also provides instant noodles which you have to pay but do not have chopsticks. So, how to eat if you are hungry? Staff are not helpful or friendly but provides good shuttle bus service to town centre or ferry terminal at frequent half hourly frequency.

It was my first time to Macau and staying at Ritz was a pleasant experience because first of all the staff at the reception could speak and read english very well, and some could speak fluent cantonese. That helped us around a lot. If you dont know chinese or portugese in Macau, friendly hotel staff and concierge do help a lot. My husband and I loved the free shuttle bus that took us to the city centre, to casinos and also to the ferry terminal that connects Macau to Hong Kong. it was very convenient to hop on and hop off the bus because the service is at every 30 min interval. Because Macau is quite small, each point that the shuttle bus takes u, u could actually walk to many tourist places like the KUN LAM statue, the Ruins of ST Pauls, the famous casinos, some night clubbing spots, nice restaurants, plenty of shopping too. i'll recommend Ritz for first timers, because for the price u pay, its good value for money. the room is pretty big, only thing its not a very new or modern room,
