I've known this hotel for many years and it's as good as it's ever been. Not perfect, but get the right deal and it's great value for money.
Most staff are Hyatt trained, so were efficient and effective. Rooms were as they always were - basic, but comfortable and clean. Pool was designed well years ago and is still great. Fitness Centre and Spa are also far better than you would expect to get at such a hotel. Check out the squash and tennis courts - still in great shape after all these years. Not a honeymoon place, but defintely good value if you get the right deal. ...

Everything great but breakfast catered more for Asian's than westeners. No hot water thermos to weaken the tea has it obviously sits for a while and if you do not have milk then you need extra hot water. I myself, had only a 1/4 cup of tea as it was too strong.

Breakfast provided every morning is not up to my expectation. Breakfast every morning is nearly the same each day. Out of the 4 days, I had baron for breakfast only 1 morning. Fresh fruits is ok but the salad is very plain. Room for improvement.

Regency website mentions tht hotel is with casino but there is no casino, when we asked for the same, they directed us to Atria Hotel across the road.Though the pool is really gud, but there are better options available in macau at the same rate.Every hotels provides free water and minibar use across macau but these guys were charging for tea as well.Every other hotel buses were picking visitors within 2-5 mins time at ferry terminal but we had to wait for 40 mins which was quite disheartening. So, I will not recommend this hotel.

The staff was very accomodating. :) The hotel, however, was kind of far from the main attractions of the city.

The room was very big. Also, they had excellent gym facilities the amount we paid, inclusive of breakfast, was a very affordable and value for money amount.

This hotel is a little tired, carpets in bedrooms stained ,room musty, thick dust on flooraround the bedside tables. The hotel pool area has old world elegance, but is showing signs of stress.Staff efficent but busy. This hotel popular with tour groups from mainland.

An 'old style' hotel i.e. peaceful, quiet, personal service in a city gone mad on glitzy new hotels designed to accommodate gamblers. Outstanding value-for-money (at least, when we were there). The breakfast, included in the price, lacked imagination but was nothing like as bad as a previous reviewer declared: perhaps the management took note! For some reason the excellent resort facilities - including the pool, gym and other facilities - were treated like state secrets: one had to really, really want to find them. My companion and I liked the place enough that we plan to use it for our forthcoming honeymoon.

It would be nice if there were more restaurants as they now only have a chinese restaurant. The rooms and very clean but looks a bit dull. The walls are empty, a few nice paintings would certainly add colour and life to the rooms.

We went at the Hyatt Regency 3 years ago and we can say it has changed, it is much less luxurious (the staff of the Crown hotel is having lunch in the former restaurant near the swimming pool) ; however, we have appreciated our holidays, and may come back in a couple of years.

It's pretty much the same old Hyatt Regency Macau that I used to know, but now old is the key word. This hotel seems to have lost its Hyatt touch since leaving the franchise in July, as the staff now appear to be inexperienced and under-trained. However, most of the facilities are still functioning, and the price is attractive.

This is an older property not worthy of it 4 star rating. Was dissapointed upon arrival but was not worth the trouble to complain for my four day stay. Would not recommend!
