Walking distance to almost all the famed places of interest on "The Strip", it is also surrounded with all the little explored shops hawking their wares and amenities for the groups of travelling parties. With the provision of a daily American Styled Buffet breakfast, METROPARK MACAU is a place of value for money to anyone! Besides the location being top notch, the Staff is friendly, helpful and accomodating. The room is clean and comfortable, which makes it so hard for one to leave the room every day to paint the Town red! I will definitely recommend METROPARK MACAU to any or my friends, planning a visit to Macau. Right in the heart of this surprising city. Free ferry shuttle bus a bonus. Handy 711 right across the road for supplies. A block away from Police HQ so strong police presence added to feeling of security. The room hand an Excellent large clean bathroom. I would stay here again anytime.

overall good hotel, but its a bit difficult to find the hotel for first timers. The hotel should put on the net information regarding transportation from the airport/ferry terminal to hotel. We like the fact that they don't have casinos int the premise, they should advertise this more on the net, we pnly found out after checking in. The room size was good and spacious, adequate for a family with kids. We like the free internet service however a longer duration will be good, may be good to have the internet service in the room too. Reception staff and F&B were good but swimming pool area was a bit unfriendly. Was rather difficult to find at first but once we got use to it was OK. Its quite a busy area in the midst of shops. More regular shuttle bus may be required, perhaps sharing with other hotels. And bigger coverage of area will be good too.

What i like most with the hotel is it's accessibility to all areas . Your on time shuttle bus to the Macau Ferry Terminal is a PLUS factor when you tour around.
What you should improve are your transportation services on arrivals and going back to the airport.requests were attended on time. suggest you teach English your Front Desk ansd Room Service staff. generally quite as there is no casino. Ideal for a family.

Metropark Hotel Macau is a nice hotel. Front Desk/Cashier/Concierge always have a pleasant smile to greet their guests; they are very helpful as well. Rooms are always kept clean, and the bathroom amenities always supplied. The buffet breakfast at the Ciao Restaurant (2nd Floor)presents a wider variety of food choices; however, they don't serve rice for breakfast. Location wise, a bit far from Senado Square (about 20 minutes walk); but close to a bus stop where you can easily get a ride to the major Macau attractions. They offer free 15 minutes/day (you can accumulate and use 1 time) which kept us updated on business matters back home. They offer free scheduled shuttle service to and from the Macau Ferry Terminal which is usually on time. We used a standard room and the size was quote big. Cabled TV, refrigerator, centrally controlled light system, even a hair dryer was provided for guest use. An electric plug adaptor was likewise provided; hence, recharging our electronic equipments (cameras, mobile phones) was not a hassle. Essential facilites were present. Hotel staff were pleasant - Front Desk, Bellboys, Room Maintenance, Concierge, Cashier, even the shuttle-service driver. Actually, the food is great except that they don't serve rice for breakfast. We eat rice every meal, most especially during breakfast. Everthing is maintained clean al tall times - hallways, rooms, even the cigarette trays are clean. It is a about a 10 minute walk to the Casinos, and about 20 minutes walk to the Senado Square and St. paul's Ruins. Bus stop is just on the next corner and can easily geta bus to the famous landmarks in Macau. the only thing missing is a airport shuttle. Metropark Hotel do not provide free airport shuttle service. You can rent a car/van though for MOP$ 130.00

The hotel is quite near the Unesco Heritage Site. One may walk or take a taxi (costs about MOP 20). The hotel provides free shuttle service to the jetty every half hour interval and one can walk to the Fishermen's Wharf which is near by or take a free shuttle bas to Venetian Resort in Taipa (provided by Venetian).The hotel's location is excellent.

Hotel was very well presented - clean and spacious public areas with a small lobby area at reception. The staff were pleasant and helpful and front desk staff had a good understanding of English. The superior rooms were a good standard with a queen size bed and many of the little extras you would expect from a four star hotel. Price was reasonable for the area - we paid around US$110 including buffet breakfast and free shuttle bus to and from the ferry. There is no casino or nightclub at the hotel which is a bonus because it stays peaceful and quiet while the frantic vegas-style life goes on outside. Easy walk to about six casinos and the wharf area. Reasonably priced cafes and restaraunts one block away behind the Holiday Inn. Short taxi ride to the old Portugese area of Macau. You may not a view from your window, but the view from the sing sing bar on the top floor makes up for this.

The lobby man is not friendly, when my family is resting at waiting lounge. His approach is not well-mannered to the guest. Statements made by him that show he is not responisble what ever that he is not sighted. This hotel is in the middle of all the night entertainment. It has a 24 hour fast food-restaurant near by as well as convenient stores. The reception is very polite and friendly. We are not aware that there is in fact free hotel shuttle bus services to the pier and return between Hong Kong and Macau. We took a cab to the hotel which is less than 10 mins to the hotel. We use the free Shuttle Bus service on our way back to the Pier. The Hotel Shuttle Bus driver is very rude towards some of the passengers and us which set a bad impression for our kids and us.

I checked in late around at 15.00PM. but the hotel reception told me have to wait for the room on cleasing. This hotel is indeed a pleasure. My family could even have a nice and cheap noodles at a restaurant just 30 seconds away AT 3AM and there is even a 24-hr cafe next to it. 7-Eleven is across the road and shopping is just infront of the hotel.
We even walk to Casino Lisboa and Grand Lisboa which is about 5 mins walk away. The Sands Integrated Resort is just 20 mins walk away. The hotel's locale is indeed unique and so accessible to many attractions. We didn't even realise it was so near to all the amenities until we actually walked around. Trip to the St Paul Cathedral is just 10mins bus ride from a bus stop just behind the hotel. There is even a free shuttle bus to the Macau Ferry Terminal.
The rooms are nice and spacious to our liking. Cosy and comfortable. Indeed the hotel made the one-nite trip to Macau worth the while.
Fellow travellers, this hotel is indeed value for money and its conveniences cannot be exaggerated enough.

The only problem we had in Metro park is upon checking in,check in time is 2:00pm,advised us to come back at 3:00pm.Coming back around 5:00pm our room was not yet ready,waited too much time in checking in is really awful.Location is good very near bus stops and walking distance to tourist spots.

What I like most is that the hotel does not have casino and night club. It is really a peace of mind especially for a family holiday. The location of the hotel is a great plus point. My sojourn at this hotel was a pleasant one for my friend and I as we were given quite a spacious room. The room and bath was nice, clean and tidy. Moreover, there is a bus-stop located within short walking distance from the hotel. This means public transportation was not a problem for the adventurous. There is also a supermarket nearby not to mention a 7-11 convenience store located just opposite the hotel which is really great. However, the downside seems to be the lobby ambience which is somewhat gloomy perhaps due to poor lighting conditions.

We enjoyed our stay at the Metro Park Hotel. The room was clean and large, with plenty of facilities. Also, very quiet with comfortable beds. The hotel was very attractive. The only difficulty we had was the recent name change from Hotel Grandeur, which caused much confusion, as none of the taxi drivers knew what we were talking about when we arrived at the airport. So, make sure you are armed with the street name in Chinese script and the hotel phone number. The hotel is right in the centre of a number of casinos and is a short stroll to the city centre. Also, the Metro Park Hotel does not have a casino or nightclub, so is peaceful throughout the night. The hotel is close to the centre, but is also near to major bus routes and the hotel provides a free bus service to the ferry port.

Rough start with check-in. Did not have my request of non-smoking available even after 2-3 months lead time. Had to wait and waste much time for a room. Then a statement about it being policy that they couldn't accomodate me with a room in the meantime till my room was avail. Felt that they either were saving the room for someone willing to pay more and not an on-line customer. Didn't feel the conduct of business etiquette was right thus it started off being frustrating. Also, 1 maybe 2 of front desk personnel appeared to have the hospitality attitude. The male mgr was helpful and informative and as a frequent business traveller staying in many hotels I did not see the warmth and hospitality in the overall of front desk personnel.
