We checked in at about 2:30 p.m. but room was made available only after 30 minutes of waiting. Standard check in time is 2:00 p.m. The room was big enough for myself, wife and daughter. Always hotel facilities at hand when needed. Front Desk and Concierge staff were very friendly and accommodating
Most of the food tastes good. Accessible to public transport. If they would want accessibility, friendliness of staff.

The room I stayed is very large. -- there are 2 basins in a bathroom, but the room is too dark. And some staffs can't understand english. Anyway, I think this hotel is nice.

The hotel is conveniently located near the New Yaohan, ferry terminal (5-10mins walk) and fisherman's wharf. You can take a relaxing stroll all the way from the hotel to Sands Casino and enjoy the interesting sights along the way. Free transport is provided to the ferry terminal and Zhuhai border. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The 4* hotel provides phone in the toilet, slippers, tea making facilities, etc. Welcome drink was served with complimentary snack upon our arrival! Staff at reception were friendly and efficient. The bell-boy,Joel, was particularly forthcoming in providing useful information for our first trip to Macau. We will definitely go back again!

There was a 'drilling' sound in the room throughout the night. We made several complains to the hotel staff. The hotel manager came to our room to apologise as he could not find out the cause. Eventually, we discovered the sound was produced by the water pipes. The sound proving for water pipes still need improvement. The hotel is located walking distance from Yaohan.

I tried to check in late afternoon, but was made to wait 30 minutes. Hotel room was OK, except the bathroom was like a 3-star standard.

I like the hotel very much. Hope that I can go there again. The only thing I not satisfied is the transportation within Hotel to Ferry Terminal & Airport. I not even know when the suttle bus will come. I wait so long still didn't see any suttle bus to Casa Real Hotel. Therefore I get a taxi. But the taxi driver so rude!!!He asked me to walk to hotel. I come with a big luggage, I know that is impossible for me to walk to hotel by the way I also not sure which direction should I go. Very dissapointed to Macau's Taxi. I understand this is not thehotel's false. But if they can take care about this problem that we face. This hotel can be evalueted as perfect!

Though it was mentioned that the hotel has a casino, I was a little disappointed that Casa Real only operate table games and not jackpot, bearing in mind that not all guests plays table games. Some prefer jackpot. Hence I spent more time at Sands to play jackpot.

The hotel has very limited number of non smoking rooms and the whole place smells like an ash tray. Overall, it was lacking the casino ambiance and atmosphere we were hoping to experience. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Booked 2 rooms. 1 was newly refurbished but the other was not. The other room was much smaller and only can be standardized to a 3 star or less. I was being pushed from one staff to another. There is no taxi service available and inconveniently accessible. Not worth paying that kind of money for a non-equivalent class of hotel. There is only a pathetic looking coffee lounge at the lobby area.
Would still recommend although overall experience was not really good. All the hotels in Macau are rated 4 stars and above and can expect the others would probably be the same as this. One thing good is you dont see any suspicious looking characters loitering around.

The hotel exceeded the expectations, architecturally beautifully marries western and eastern casino and hotel. The only downfall, but this was throughout all of Macau was the language setback, very few people speak english well enough to assist. But the hotel was outstanding....
