Staff is extremely unfriendly. Area does not feel safe, but tram stops are right in front of the hotel (# 8, 2) or across the street (# 1, 4, 7), but did not feel safe to walk the area after dark. Breakfast is ok, but way below the typical Maritim standard you find in others of this hotel chain. For the same price you can find better hotels in the area. Typical small room with very little space for luggage. Bathroom ok, but small. Windows could not be opened. A/C also functions as heating unit. Large square building with 12 stories, small fitness center and sauna. Reception shares space with bar and breakfast room/restaurant divided by advertisement boards and a small water fountain. 2 small stores with overpriced souvenirs and a desk for the concierge who does not like to be disturbed. Very unfriendly personnel - felt like you really were a nuisance checking in/out or inquiring about i.e. sauna usage etc. Room was cleaned every day as expected. Small Sauna/fitness center - had to get someone from reception to open the door, but acceptable standard and cleaniness. Ljocation poor, "across the tracks" - in this case across the river, gives you a very insecured feeling and at night dangerous area, boardering on a park area and local housing. Trams stop until 11 pm in front of the hotel and on the main street to the right of the hotel every few minutes. With 6 different tramps stopping in front and side of hotel transportation excellent until approx. 11 pm when all public transportation stops.
