The Hanza Hotel is centrally located, has architectural note, and yet is totally up to date. It is situated in an area of Riga now full of novelty, vigour and above all of variety. You can open you window onto the view over the early 19th-century Church of Jesus, the tallest wooden building in Latvia. Almost as close is the Academy of Science from the Soviet period, with its recently opened tower now offering the best viewpoint over Riga.
