This former residence of the first prime minister of Laos, a fine example of Lao-colonial architecture, was renovated in 2002 after it was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1995. Sala Prabang is a unique boutique residence comprising five original World Heritage buildings and a traditional Lao bungalow. Rooms retain colonial elegance and feature a combination of contemporary and traditional styles, which helps to promote a comfortable and private atmosphere.
