We arrived here on our way home from a 6 week adventure in Europe, some of the reports on this hotel to say the least were not favourable but we were surprised. Room was quiet on the 7th floor, with a view to nowhere, which was okay. Breakfast was adequate, although we ate one night in the hotel, far better places lie next door and down the road. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again...

The hotel is within easy walking distance to the 2 closest MRT stations (Dhoby Gaut and Raffles City). The History and Art Museums are within close proximity. A 7/11 is right next door to this hotel. Coffee shops such as Delifrance and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are around the corner on the same block with a Kopitiam food hall right on the corner. A buffet breakfast was included in the package, and although there was a reasonable amount of choice there was not much variation in the offerings each day. The breakfast menu could do with a revamp as well as inclusion of more vegetarian options.
