The welcome was friendly and helpful, and the ambience very good. We needed to ask if they could look after our luggage on our return to Amman after a night away, and they were extremely accommodating. We had two bar meals there, and cocktails, and the service and standard of food was very impressive. Two matters only were slightly disappointing. We asked them to order us a taxi, and we ended up with a Hotel car, which cost a considerable amount more that we were bargaining for (but gave us a very nice ride to sample Movenpick ice cream, which amused the driver greatly). This is a lovely hotel but we chose it for the pool areas which were not reachable as the stairs were under repair during our stay.The internet area is in the admin block and the staff and other patrons were smoking comstantly. The printer also was not working for the whole time we were there.The front desk personel are not helpful but the dining room personel are wonderful and have helpful suggestions for activities which helped us to enjoy our stay in Amman.

We decided for our run to the airport that we would use one of their cars again, but the driver was entirely disinterested, and drove and cornered without a great amount of consideration for our comfort or feelings of security. We would, however, happily go there again at the rate you were able to negotiate with them - great value all told.

The hotel does not deserve a category of 5 starts. The room was poorly equipped (no slippers, no bathrobe, no key for the refrigerator, poor TV facilities,...). The room was not clean. we found hair on the bed. the bathroom was not well equipped, not very clean and even the curtains of the shower were in a poor condition. The staff of the hotel is not friendly and they are not even able to give a little drawing indicating the location of the hotel. I would not reccomend this hotel.
