We spent an unforgettable time in Listel Shinjuku Hotel. Quiet hotel in the center of Shinjuku, during the night any noise can't be heared, nice staff, very accurate, ready to help. Thank you Hotel Travel, with you we made the right choice....

The hotel rooms smell badly of smoke - lots of smoking Chinese people stay at this hotel, so make sure you book on only 2 out of 15 floors that are NON-SMOKING.The lady in the breakfast area, she was the highlight every morning. !Late check-out possible, yeah - with payment only! Our booking said late check-out available, but didn't say this would cost anything.Fast internet, no issues.Bit out of the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku, but that was a good thing - to get away from it all.Great for gays and lesbians - the bars and clubs are very close by.

We love the quiet atmosphere and the wide choice of good eateries around the vincinity of the hotel. The rooms were wee bit small but the bathroom was clean and well equipped. My children liked the buffet breakfast and the freiendly service at the cafe. Although more smiles and help from the hotel conceige would be better, we were overall comfortable there.

Room was small and a bit worn, although still acceptable. Location of the hotel is excellent (close to Shinjuku station), staff was friendly, breakfast good enough and free internet was available. Definitely a good value for the money, I would recommend it to anyone travelling for leisure with a limited budget. There were no extra facilities such as swiming pool or gym, although we did not expect them. Internet was available at the lobby and free of charge. Friendly and professional staff, although not very skilled in english. Breakfast was good enough (japanesse style). Close to Shinjuku Express and Shinkasen Station (15 minutes walk) and a couple of subway stations.

Hotel room is a tad too small but I believe the rooms had just received a facelift and the end result is pleasing to the eyes. Unfortunately, most staff cannot speak simple English so communication was a problem. We had to rely on a Chinese staff most of the time.

The hotel is located close Shinjuku shops and entertaiment area and it is a good cost-effective accomodation solution. The rooms are too small but clean. A western breakfast is provided. The staff speak english.

My experience at the Listel was great. My room was very luxurious and the staff were very friendly. I had a great view of shinjuku and overall the hotel is great value for money. Not only was it more than comfortable, it is affordable. The place is only 10mins from the Shinjuku centre and close to train stations. The only thing that may be a concern, depending on your preference, is that the hotel is not on a main street but situated in a residential area but its only a couple minutes walk around the corner to get to the main street. Highly Recommended!

The hotel is very conveniently located about 10-15 min from Shinjuku station, which is more "foreign people" friendly than the Tokyo station. There are many restaurants, shops and places of interest near by. Would definitely recommend it!

The hotel is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood near the dental university. Although near the Shinjuku Gardens subway, it is rather far from the JR station (2 subway stops away on the Marunouchi line), especially if lugging a heavy luggage. However, it is good value for money as it comes with a substantial breakfast (Japanese and Western) and the rooms, though small, are clean and fully equipped. All TV channels are in Japanese and there is free internet by the reception in the mini lobby. It is popular with local Japanese, tour groups and budget travelers.

I stayed at the no smoking floor. Clean and nice room. The staff is not so friendly, but really efficient. It's close to Shinjuku Ni-chome and 5 minutes walking from the metro station Shinjuku-gyoemmae. They change linen, towels, kimono every day. A good choice.

This was a good quality hotel in an excellent location in Shinjuku---very convenient! What really impressed me was the comfortable room (a little small by western standards but adequate) with good facillities and the extremely pleasant staff who were eager to help whenever with every detail. They, most of all, made my stay very enjoyable and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tokyo.

Compared to other similiar hotels around the same area, I think Listel Shinjuku Hotel offer best value for money. I would say that I'm happy with hotel room and facilities. No complains. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. But don't expect a grand spread of food. One thing that sets this hotel apart from the rest in the same area is that it has broadband internet access in the room for a reasonable price of 525 yen per day. However, you'll need to have your own laptop PC. For those who don't have your own laptop, free internet access (with desktop PC provided) is available next to the reception. But limited to 10 minutes use each time.
