The pictures on the internet and brochures make the rooms larger than what they really seem. The room and bathroom is small but practical. But, the overall friendliness, professionalism of the staff and services such as laundry service were excellent. English is not spoken "fluently" so lessons in Japanese are helpful when staying at this hotel. The location was located in a banking district. So, transportation and basic access to popular towns was easy. The taxis came when called and the subway is just a block down from the entrance to the hotel. ...

This hotel is run-down looking inside, quite different from the gleaming white photo on the internet. I wonder if that photo may actually be for another hotel location in the Pearl Hotels line of hotels. The photo certainly looks unlike the Kayabacho Pearl Hotel I stayed at. Anyway, the hallways, my room were very small and dingy looking. I was thankful that I was only there for one day. I strongly recommend that you be cautious about this place unless nothing else is available.

Poor business center: I stayed one week (tuesday 2007/12/04 to monday 2007/12/10), one of the two computers was out of order most of the time and both were out of order for three whole days (friday 12/14 to monday 12/17). I stayed in the hotel three years ago and had similar problems with the business center. Nevertheless, excellent location.

Hotel is in good location and not very expensive. Rooms are not very big but clean and staff is quite friendly, the only problem is that they were fixing the street the first night we stay, it was very noisy, apart of that we liked it. The furniture at room is quite old and the size of the room quite small, toiltes very small, tv just japanese channels and not wardrobe!! We had only breakfast at hotel, we had two choices, western and japanese Staff is friendly and approchable. Location is very good, tube station is very close, just five minutes walking from the hotel. Tube station just 5 minutes walking from the hotel. 15 minutes walking from hotel to ginza. No many shops in that area, just stationary shops and few restaurants. Price is reasonable for location. Even the room was small and not wardrobe inside we still thinking the location was fantastic and the price not bad, worthy!

Although the rooms are small, this would appear to be the norm with Japanese hotels unless you are willing to spend some serious money. All in all, I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. It was close to tube station, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was kept clean and tidy. My only gripe is that the menus in the hotel restaurant were not fully translated into English which meant the choice was limited unless you're willing to wing it. But in general, I would say this hotel was good value for money and I would have no issue with staying there again.
