Chi Su Hotel is value for money and it's staff hospitality is excellent, location wise is in the heart of the city with convenience access to the public transport. the most i like is hotel staff hospitality and they are very helpful. the least i like is limited channel for Tv which has only 1 english channel ie BBC channel. overall i would rate this hotel at 8 out 10....

Overpriced characterless business hotel with small, somewhat tired rooms and decor plus no internet

Superb value from a very clean and quiet hotel with excellent staff.
Located just a few minutes' walk from Hamamatsucho station on the JR Yamanote line, the hotel is very well placed for easy access around the Tokyo area. The area is clean and safe to walk around and there are several good eating places in the complex directly opposite the hotel. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Room for improvement in a couple of areas: the bar opens only sporadically and closes far too soon. One evening guests weren't even allowed into the bar as the room had been booked for a private group of non-residents. However there are drinks machines within the hotel's corridors where you can buy a cold beer at a reasonable price at any time. As noted in an earlier review, the TV has only one English-speaking channel, the BBC World service, and a wider range of English-speaking TV programmes would be welcome but I've stayed at hotels in Krakow where there have been no English-speaking programmes at all on the TV, so it could be worse. Who wants to sit and watch the telly when you're in a city as vibrant and exciting as Tokyo, anyway?
Overall, I was very impressed with the value of the hotel. Let's face it, the price is very fair indeed for the facilities available and, with the location of the hotel taken into account, you couldn't find better value for money. I would certainly head straight for the Chisun on any subsequent visit to Yokyo. Recommended.
Clean and comfortable, albeit small and without wardrobe space. En-suite room with air conditioning, TV, drinks facilities and wooden, sliding window blinds.
Drinks machines on each floor but the bar seems to close whenever you get thirsty. Restaurant open sporadically, too. Restaurant within the hotel should be open every night. It isn't! Places to go for a meal within two minutes' walk, though, except at weekends when even the local McDonalds closes.
Access to Hamamatsucho is no problem. Taxis just over the road most evenings. Hinode pier is close, too, for pleasure cruises up the river or around the bay.
Restaurant within the hotel should be open every night. It isn't! Places to go for a meal within two minutes' walk, though, except at weekends when even the local McDonalds closes.
