The hotel location is excellent with walking distance to stations for JR and other lines. Also, it is close to many interesting places such as the Ueno Park, zoo, Ameyoko Market etc. The hotel is very clean and cozy but staff service so-so. Rooms are rather stuffy because I suspect the air-con is not switched on during Spring time. Rooms more comfortable if guests are willing to sleep with open windows. We had a rather unpleasant experience with my sister's pair of shoes. Thought they were missing at first since we couldn't find them at the place which was last kept in a plastic bag beside the dressing table and housekeeping staff doesn't seem to know either. But later found the shoes under the very small space below the bed without the plastic bag. Thought this was rather strange.
Excellent location and no because of the standard of service and hospitality. Somehow, we don't feel very welcomed when we were staying there.
