The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The room walls are dented and scratched in places and the wallpaper is old, discoloured and peeling. The carpet is worn and dirty. Internet use is free but requires you to use a hotel-provided modem and cables which takes time to setup and makes for an awful clutter on the small desk. Very small room even by Japanese standards. The bathroom was clean and functional but very, very small. Hotel location is very good if you need to be in Umeda. It is about 15 minutes walk to JR Umeda and five minutes to Nakatsu station on the Midosuji subway line which provides easy access to Namba and Shin-Osaka. I only paid about USD60 per night for this hotel, but they really do need to refurbish and modernise or it is not even worth that.
