Westin Miyako Hotel is located in the serene foothils of Higashiyama Mountains, yet not far from the city centre. It is within walking distance from Nanzenji-Temple and Heian Jingu Shrine. It is immediately near the subway Tozai line Keage Station and 20 minutes from JR Kyoto Station's Hachijoguchi by hotel bus which leaves every 30 minutes. It is 60 minutes from Osaka Itami Airport and 75 minutes by train from Kansai Airport to Kyoto Station on the "Haruka" Special Express.
It is approximatley 25 minutes by train from the International Conference Hall.
YIM MAK, Malaysia "The location of this hotel is excellent, being close to Nanzenji and the Philosopher's Walk which leads to Ginkakuji, a world heritage site. The hotel shuttle service to & from Kyoto Train Station was a big plus. We had a room with an upgraded bathroom, but the overall standard of the room was just average for a Westin. Service was attentive. "
