The common areas need overhauling. The carpets look quite tired and worn and the carpet in the breakfast area is very dirty in places.

Very clean and well organized. The hotel is a bit older, so it was not as opulant as some places. The people were friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to everything, and that is why we picked it. The rates were high, but so is everything in Japan. We ate one meal there, and it was very good, but again it was expensive. The view from the room was breathtaking. The museum, park, and shoping areas, as well a bus station were easy walks away. I would recommend it.
