I thought it was a stunning setting, right on the beach and with it's own swimming pool. Venice on the whole is quite expensive and the Lido is no exception, however I got a good deal with the hotel room which was worth the amount I paid. There were a few nice restaurants in the local area, but the hotel also laid on a shuttle to the mainland so there was not shortage of choice. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for a short break. It was a lovely spacious room which was immaculate and cleaned twice a day.
