Scandinavia Hotel Venice go back deep in time. The building dates from the year 1000 and it is said to be the very place where Desdemona met Othello, the "Moor of Venice." The palazzo was renovated in the 16th century by the Trevisan family, a wealthy merchant dynasty, that lived in it for generations. In the 50's, the Tinacci family transformed the palazzo into the hotel it is today, managing to preserve the atmosphere of an ancient Venetian residence handed down through the centuries.
