Residence Palazzo Selvadego Hotel is a typical venetian palace which has been restored, nicely decorated and equipped with all the modern comforts. The restaurant at the hotel is very famous with both the locals and holiday makers for its high standard cuisine and for the stunning terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. All up the hotel is highly recommended for the excellent location and facilities.

This accommodation is an annexe of the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal where you have breakfast and other amenities. Although the main hotel is 5* in appearence the breakfast was extremely poor in comparison with other hotels we stayed in during the same trip. They even charge you for a glass of orange juice! The restaurant in the main hotel though was superb & we felt the 2 courses, with wine, were worth the 150€ charge.
The house-keeping in our room was very poor compared to other 4* hotels we have stayed in: soaps, shampoo etc were not replaced and coffee/tea supplies weren't restocked daily. The room however was clean & the bed linen changed daily. It was also a good sized room, even though a bit dark, but not really worth the 4* price tag.
