It's a expensive hotel in a great location. Beautiful building and rooms. If you need internet, they don't have internet in the rooms just only in the lobby. The staff is very friendly. I recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy San Marco Island. If you need to check your email like my husband they don't have WI-FI in the rooms (select another Hotel). The rest was OK.

This is our second visit to the Kette in 2 years and we specifically wanted to go back, when we got there we found they had given us the same room with canal view as two years ago, a nice touch assuming it was a deliberate ploy. Breakfasts are super and worth getting down early to bag a table , there are no evening or lunch meals but in Venice the fun is eating out . There is a bar but again we always eat or drink out. The beauty of the Kette is it is quiet at night very well situated for vaparetto stops, and especially the Alilaguna stop from the airport a serious consideration for any first time visitors just two small bridges to cross with cases and only a 3 -5 minute walk from the vaporetto . alilaguna to the hotel. Super location for St Marks, Designer shops, bars restaurants etc and La Fenice , Accademia areas without too much noise and hustle. We will definitely hope to revisit again if we can find another good deal.

Excellent service, just not 4-star as you would expect. No facilities (apart from a tiny bar). Make sure they don't put you in a room next to the cleaner's cupboard as they are very noisy all day. A bit like a Travelodge with high-class staff.
