The hotel is a beautiful venetian hotel, central, yet in a peaceful locality. Lovely decent sized rooms with wooden floors and roofs and venetian furniure. However, they have another hotel called Casa Kirsch which is a modern, hostel type living that they over booked at Casa Verardo so they gave us Casa Kirsch, which was completely unacceptable to me. But then they compensated us for the remaining days by giving us their largest room in Casa Verardo. So, make sure to insist on Casa Verardo.
