As Americans, we had a little difficulty communicating with the staff, but they tried to be helpful. The bus stop is confusing at best from this area. The directions they give do not clearly help you find it. However, they did try to provide the information in your room, I would just suggest a more detailed map of the bus stop. There weren't many Americans the first day, so the other European guests were snotty. The restaurant felt like a hotel banquet room to being like a church basement. The food was pricey, but we were extremely impressed with the food. It was absolutely excellent. We couldn't eat it all, but they prepared it to take back to our room. We did not initially book this hotel, we were switch to it, but it ended up being a good nights stay. Once you figure out the bus stop, it is VERY easy to run into Venice. The price without HotelTravel.Com is too high, but booked through it will leave you feeling OK.
