Antica Locanda Sturion Hotel overlooking the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, has been a 'home away from home' for travellers since the end of the 13th century. Refurbished in the 14th century, the hotel reached the peak of its renown in the 15th century when celebrated navigators and traders and even seven Ambassadors from Friuli were among its guests. The hotel features in the 1494, Vittore Carpaccio painting "The Miracle of the Cross" and has been mentioned in a variety of historical texts. You too can enjoy this ancient hospitality when opting to stay here, when in Venice.

Value for money accomodation typifying Venice with its extravagant designs in room, lobby, etc. Clean room and toilet. Electric kettle also provided. Friendly English-speaking staff. Only drawback is the stairs...its quite a workout especially with the luggages! ...
