Albergo Quattro Fontane is a country-house, a stone's throw from the centre of Venice. Albergo Quattro Fontane was built upon the site of the first and only casino on the Lido, towards the end of the sixteenth century. Centuries later it was turned into a tavern where the English poet Robert Browning was said to be one of its regular customers. To reflect this history, its rooms offer a selection of period furniture and paintings. Looking for a little luxury, without being obvious, then this is an excellent accommodation choice.
