Though a relatively small city, Sorrento in Italy's Campania region has achieved a name for itself as a holiday destination. Its selection of museums and culturally interesting buildings, fine restaurants and its proximity to other fascinating destinations along the Amalfi coast all help to draws the crowds.

The city has attractions and facilities to meet the needs of both children and adults. Capodichino Airport in Naples is the closest international aviation facility serving Sorrento. It’s the chief gateway to the Campania region and can be found just eight kilometres outside of Naples city centre. The airport maintains connections with most major cities in the EU as well as with a small number of transatlantic destinations.
