Great Hotel and area..Excellent rooms as long as you end up on the 4th floor.My buddies got rooms on the 1st floor and theese rooms were crap compared to the ones we got:-) great value for money..

We stayed for 5 nights in the Universo. Within 5 minutes walking distance off metro & railwaystation at the good site of the grand terminal. At our arrival we became instantly a room with two seperate beds witch was not in line with our imagination of an romantic stay in Rome. Without any problems, and in a very kind way, immidiatly action was taken and without a single grummble we got a splendid double bed room. The personal in general was absolutely kind and friendly. The prices off bar & minibar below average. The breakfast was served between 06.30 and 09.30am and at each time provided with enough tables and food & beverage. All Roman sites are within walking distance with a good pair off shoes ;-) and feed. We had an excellent time in the Universo!

The room was quite small and we did not get the double bed we`d asked for. Instead we got two single beds. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The breakfast was ok, however they do not know how to cook bacon.
