OK so First of all be prepared to spend money in Rome, it is very very expensive and not always great value for money. This hotel is more like a youth hostel with rooms. Its not pretty to look at and the bath is so small even children have a hard time fitting in it. We travelled with children big mistake using this hotel. Expect to pay 180 euro plus for a decent family room. If its just two of you and you dont mind the fact that the bed is rough and the air may or may not be working then this is the place for you as its cheap. The problem is its the cheapest hotel in Rome close to the most expensive street via vanencia or something like that. This being the case all the resturants are expensive in the area. Car rental on the same street as the hotel approx 180 euro per day. day trip to capri 140 euro. Dont expect the same service you would get at a holliday inn or best western. The breakfast is below average for some reason they like thier yogurt and milk at room temp. To cut a long story short..dont expect anything from Italy its very expensive for everything you really have to walk to get cheaper food ask the front desk for all the cheap places to eat and the pharmacy and the supermarket etc. the room is just a room its cheap but if your on your own and on a budget its the best you can get. just be prepared.
