Rated #72 for all Rome hotels
An excellent full service hotel in a former 18th century palace centrally located in walking distance to many of Rome's major sites. Large room and bathroom very clean. Located 1.5km from the Termini train station, the hotel is easily accessed by express bus (40) that runs from the train station to St. Peters. Other buses from the station include 64 and 170. The hotel also arranges scheduled shuttle service between the airports and the hotel (12 euros with reservations required). Hotel was nice and room was a good size. Bathroom was very small and had no bath. Room a bit noisy as we were on a main road but windows were well double glazed so not too bad

Excellent location for walking to the main sights and the best shops. The only let down would be the size of the rooms- tiny, breath in and walk in single file only. A bit of a squeeze for big lads and lasses.

The hotel has its own restaurant but there is an excellent restaurant called Bibo on a side street nearby. The hotel's bar and restaurant (The Glass) has the best coffee prices around. But the real reason to stay at this hotel is the breakfast buffet which is sure to please anyone with a variety of cheeses, meats, eggs, breads and pastries in addition to yogurt, cereal, fresh juice and the best coffee. We will never consider staying in any other hotel in Rome.
