The staff at Capo d'Africa couldn't be more charming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere, the decor and rooms immaculate, continental breakfast plentiful and delicious. The terrace area was most enjoyable and a definite plus. The location is very central for sightseeing. After experiencing this hotel we certainly wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome! ...

This hotel is very comfortable with a great breakfast buffet inc. all kinds of foods for every different preference. We were very comfortable here and the front desk was very helpful and friendly, unlike alot of other businesses and hotels in Rome. We felt the room was a bit overpriced for what you get, but Rome is terribly expenisve. Overall we were very happy here and well fed since the brekfast buffet was inc. in the price.

Could not fault hotel in anyway. The staff were extremely courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The rooftop terrace was a big bonus and we made use of it for breakfast and drinks. We had a standard double which was spacious, quiet and clean. The hotel was very close to the colosseum and therefore within walking distance of all the major sites. The Vatican was a little further out so we chose to get a taxi.Plenty of decent restaurants along the little side streets near the hotel. The immediate area was quiet and safe.

Excellent hotel. Stayed at this hotel last summer with my family, and I was so impressed that I just returned from my second stay! It is a must on my list next year as well!

Very friendly staff (especially staff served breakfast), a little expensive, there could be free internet (daily 6 euro) reseptionist lady could be more friendly, she looks a little nervos and angry. Wonderful breakfast terrace. It could be recommended to friends who has money :-)

Very good hotel in great location. Staff very nice. Liked the fact that breakfast is served till 11am. Rooms and bathrooms spotless, sheets changed daily. Very comfortable, good hotel. Would like to have had more shops nearby i.e. clothes/shoes/ souvenirshops. These were all quite a distance from the hotel. Excellent location for exploring ancient Rome.

The hotel is well located near the Colleseum in a quiet street. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the front desk staff most courteous, well informed and helpful. Breakfast from 6.30 to gone 10.00 should suit all. Would reccommend this hotel to friends who want to stay in Rome.

Staff were great and very helpful giving good recomendations for local restaurants. Location was excellent. Breakfast was a little disappointing as no fresh fruit or brown bread or toast. Breakfast room was lovley with terrace, very bright and cheerful.

The location was the thing that I liked most and least (a bit of an oxymoron I know). It was so handy for the major city centre attractions but its location at the end of a dim, graffiti sprayed street was not the most appealing. I emphasise, however, that there was no threat from anyone or anything during my stay. I did think that it was overpriced and the mini bar prices are a joke (aren't they always says everyone?). The hotel was kept in pristine condition and the staff were a joy to behold. Nothing we asked of them was any trouble. Reasonable restaurants and cafes within very easy reach-only used the hotel for breakfast. Good sizes rooms excellently maintained throught stay. It had everything a middle aged couple needed. The staff were very attetive and friendly. Only used it for breakfast which was standard continental. There was nothing at all to complain about on this topic. It was spotless during our stay. Everything concerning staff was excellent. Lovely hotel and ideal spot for tourist attractions. Dimly lit street versus excellent location for tourist attractions. Short walk from bus route and taxi rank.

My husband, child, and I are frequent travellers and have stayed at many 4/5 star hotels over the years. Capo D'africa Hotel is by far the most immaculate hotel interior/exterior. The style of the hotel is very modern and beautiful both inside and out. But we were most impressed with the hospitality of the hotel staff. They were very accomodating to ALL of our needs. They staff adored our 1 year old son and gave him everything he wanted and needed (like free late night bowls of cereal). The service from wait staff to front desk personnel is superb and are willing to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome in the future.
