We stayed at the hotel during the winter season. The hotel is located very close to Rome airport and has a shuttle bus which we used to and from the airport. The best feature was the size of the room. On our first night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was awful - one of the worst meals I have ever had. Surprisingly, the breakfast service was quite good. In most other respects, the hotel was acceptable.

No e-mail service, no mobil phone 'reloader'. The room smelled of smoke although a non-smooking room and the aircondition was not very effective. Otherwise an okay stay. Good food at the restaurant although the pasta with salmon was quite salty. Better, warm bread at breakfast would be nice.

This review is for the The Satilite Hotel. The Airport Palace hotel was fully booked so I was sent to their sister hotel around the corner, I was told that it is the exact copy of The Airport Palace Hotel. I did not like the fact thatTHE AIRPORT PALACE was over booked after having made my bookings from Friday 24 March, 2006. They did not inform me earlier of the changes and I was left with no choice but to go to their sister hotel "The Satilite Hotel" (I was leaving the next day) and had no time to make other arrangements. I had a 7:20am flight (this was the reason for choosing this hotel) the next morning. The shuttle service to the airport does not begin until 7:00am therefore for people like me taking an early morning flight, they would have to take a taxi to the airport (7 Km away) for an extra 40 Euros.

Since any hotels in Rome are expensive, I did not expect too much from my overnight stay at this hotel. However, there are a few things I was not happy with, such as broken shower room door, noise in the hallway till 3am.... I could not bear any more than one night there.
