This hotel is really a disgrace. It is the oldest hotel in Florence and one of the oldest in Italy. It has a magnificent location and is housed in a potentially beautiful palazzo, but whoever owns it relies entirely on these facts and certainly not on the sort of standards you would expect from such a place. Breakfast to be avoided.
