The Nord did not promote itself as being other than a small, lower cost hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful. The bonus for me was the staff spoke English and communication was easy. The room I had was small but adequate, the sheets were clean and the water for showers was hot, the breakfast was sufficient for my needs. The location was excellent being a short walk to transport hubs and relatively central and within comfortable walking distance to most of the places I wanted to visit.
