The hotel is perfectly situated on the Lungarno, the road that runs parallel to the Arno river. It is within short walking distance of everything: Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi gallery, Piazza della Signoria, Piazza santa croce, etc. The rooms are adequate and clean with modern bathrooms (hot water was always hot and water pressure excellent). The beds are comfortable and the windows open (they also have air con). The TV doesn't have many channels, but who wants to watch tv in Florence anyway! The staff were always cordial and professional, but also a bit distant and cold. The breakfast offered is not...
