Rated #4 for all Limerick hotels
Beautiful location, very relaxing stay. The staff very friendly. Only downpoint was the restaurant - the food for the dinner was not good, although breakfasts were very fresh and delicious. Would still go back to the hotel, but would not order dinner there....

Advertised as being central Limerick but actually 20 minutes drive from the centre and not on a public transport route. In a beautiful setting if you want peace and quiet but no good if you want a central location. Rooms well equipped, furnished and spacious but problems with the heating, water supply and shower prevent giving it excellent rating. Staff were friendly and polite but no action appeared to have been taken when the lack of heating was reported. Breakfast was good but no other facilities were used as only overnight stay.
It was a beautiful location but misleading by stating it was central Limerick. There was only 1 bus per day into Limerick and obeying the speed limits meant that it took closer to 20 minutes to drive into the centre of the town. Peaceful setting in a village in the countryside overlooking the river.
If they wanted a peaceful hotel. Would not recommend if they wanted to be in the centre of Limerick.
