English

Galway's climate is consistently temperate, mild and moist year-round. Throughout the year, temperatures rarely rise above 30oC or drop below freezing. This is due largely to the prevailing Gulf Stream winds. Daylight hours are long during the summer and brief during the winter.
cycling tour of Galway opens up the surrounding countryside. Road conditions in the backcountry are variable, so its best to ask around before you set off in an unknown direction. Travel agencies organise cycling tours of the entire country, while independent cyclists can hire equipment from local outfitters and some hotels. Most public buses are equipped to carry bicycles.
This series of three islands is cradled by Galway Bay. Best known for the prehistoric forts found here, these islands draw crowds of tourists during the summer months. Inishmor is the most popular of the three islands and in addition to its well-known prehistoric fort (Dun Aengus), you'll also be able to peruse the ruins of early-Christian monasteries.
Galway's Ceannut Train Station is situated off Eyre Square and operates several daily connections to Euston Station in Dublin (three hours) as well as to the rail transport hub at Athlone (one hour). Eurorail and InterRail passes allow for substantial discounts on Ireland's trains.
The official language of Ireland is Gaeilge (or Irish) and although the language is taught in school, very few locals actually use Gaeilge in day-to-day commerce. As a result, Gaeilge is only spoken in pockets (of which Galway is one) throughout the country. English is widely spoken across Ireland.

This month's lucky winner is Mr. Laith Addabbas who lives in Jordan.
