A modern hotel and clean with friendly and helpful but the location is a bit out of the way. The modern architecture results in a dull outlook with the room and guest areas quite dull and uninviting. The room was clean but cold, noisy and very small. The room was never warm enough and every morning at about six o'clock the noise from the heating system was awful, we had the radiator bled but it didn't help. The hotel was much further from the city centre than I was expecting and walking into the centre took a long time. The hotel bar was very noisy and unwelcoming, there was a huge TV on the wall which drowned out any conversation. The breakfast was poor, the only fruit was from tins, the cold ham and cheese slices were dry and stale and the cooked food was cold.
