The room was clean but cold, noisy and very small. The room was never warm enough and every morning at about six o'clock the noise from the heating system was awful, we had the radiator bled but it didn't help. The hotel was much further from the city centre than I was expecting and walking into the centre took a long time. The hotel bar was very noisy and unwelcoming, there was a huge TV on the wall which drowned out any conversation. The breakfast was poor, the only fruit was from tins, the cold ham and cheese slices were dry and stale and the cooked food was cold.

The hotel is a lovely old building and situated within walking distance of Temple Bar district (but without the noise) and the center. Rooms are very pleasant. Staff were friendly....
