Located on the Coast Road, this 17th-century castle, now home to the Ballygally Castle Hotel, has all the facilities to be expected from an international-class hotel. It is in an ideal location for exploring Northern Ireland or for relaxing in the surrounding beautiful verdant countryside. Water-sports and most outside activities are within a short distance. Fully modern it still maintains its links with its historic background. It can also cater for functions and conferences.

This could be a really great place to stay, in a nice location and with a good ambience. But they let themselves down on little things - the check-in which only gave us a 24 hour key when we were staying 2 nights and ended up locked out the second night - many apologies of course. Then the single internet post - not working. The additonal bar staff that didn't know which was the house red, or how to make an Irish Whiskey. Nothing to put you off staying at a good hotel, but a bit frustrating at times.
