The hotel ambience and staff are excellent. I was not aware that I have to confirm with the hotel prior our arrival and arrange to pick us up from the airport . The trip cost Rp40000 per trip per room or you can take taxi from the airport which cost about Rp50000 per taxi.

Excellent hotel to use as basis for exploring this area. Anything is possible here. The pool is small but lovely. Breakfast here feels very intimate, listening to local music, watching the fish etc, in a colonial atmosphere. And watch the sunrise from your balcony as you'll also have a great view on the volcano nearby. And the massage is also excellent. Some minor improvement items: no spare door key provided, some noise from the corridors due to the marble floors there, limousine service relatively expensive

Staffs at the hotel are extremely helpful and ever ready with a broad smile and helping hand. However, there was some slow down during check in even when I have email all details a day earlier. An 11 seaters van was send to pick us up when there are 14 of us. It was very cramped and when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told me she was not aware how many people was in my group even though I have sent the full name list with passport details. Sometimes small matter can spoil a "Quality Event" otherwise, everything went well.

Bathroom was quite small, cigarette smoke from hall came from under the door, towels were frayed. One day at lunchtime there was drilling going on in dining room.Wine was over the top expensive. Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly staff.

The hotel is an excellent place to say in Yogya, the structure which is not a traditional high rise is a nice change. The spa was good and all my friends enjoyed their spa experience. The service was excellent and friendly. Will recommend the hotel and yogya as a destination.

Location of hotel was excellent as we had a 1 year old infabt and it was easy and close to get to most places by taxi. Staff were extremely friendly and even suggested negotiating with a local taxi for out travel to borobodur temple- we ended up using the hotel car because of convenience but that worked out well too. Driver was extremely courteous and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. This is a beautiful hotel and has a very warm friendly feel to it. it's also laid out nicely so even though it's large it still feels cozy. furnishings and fitting are well designed.

This is an excellent hotel with some of the old world charm which comes from the old but well maintained main building. Its courtyard-like setting with a fountain and a cafe around it is just so charming. Its good value for money.

Close to the Airport, the Malioboro shopping centre and the internet access outside the hotel. I was staying in room 319 (the highest floor) and the noise made by the presumably water pump on top of the roof disturbed my sleep. I am staying in room 319 (the highest floor) and the noise of the presumably water pump at the roof top disturbed my sleep. Easy access to internet kiosk (less than 30Metres from the Hotel - RP1000 per 10 minutes) and close to Malioboro shopping area (RP 10000 by trishaw - 10 minutes ride). Good food for breakfast.

wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. my room was facing another roof, hence very unhappy about the room allocation. the hotel was not fully occupied and i could have been alloted a better room. food at the hotel ,just ok, but the service was above par-good-reception -very helpful but could NOT obtain the JOGJA YELLOW PAGES for me during the period of my 5 days! Why-neither did your bUsuness center have a copy=surprise, surprise! The young lady (wearing the 'hat')at the reception who obtained for me the Jakarta Post daily must be complimented. Thanks to her I was happy with the hotel. Kanason
