First time I had ever booked over the internet or stayed at a hotel that was not part of a large chain so I had some reservations about how things might turn out. The Alang Alang more that surpassed our highest expectations. The location is absolutely beautiful, right on the beach with magnificent views of Mount Agung across the Lombok Straits. The rooms are lovely, exceptionally clean and well maintained, the pictures do not do them justice.
