Stefan van from Canada stayed in a Superior for 1 day.
the hotel is close to Gambir station but quite far from Thamrin street- the main North-South bus route and many department stores and the surroundings are not interesting at all.
Please be patient…

The superior room I stayed in was old and tired-looking. The shower dial was broken and bathroom was not modern. The non-smoking rooms were unavailable. But overall, it was ok for money paid.Hotel Facilities

Staff are very helpful and prompt with requests. Only the rooms are rather old and some electronics do not work. However, staff were prompt in trying to fix complaints.Hotel Facilities

Ronald from Canada stayed in a Superior for 2 days.
This is not a 5 star hotel in it's current state. The included buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff were always helpful and nice.. The bathroom in my room was primitive, run down and broken... They said that some of the bathrooms have been remodeled but if you have pre-paid you will almost certainly get the run down version.Hotel Facilities

A HotelTravel.com Member from United States stayed in a Superior for 6 days.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and responded well to all of my requests. The food was quite good, especially the breakfast buffet. The rooms were generally comfortable, though a bit of paint touch up, especially around the air vents, is long overdue. A bit of explanation of how to turn the air conditioning on and off at the beginning would have been helpful.Hotel Facilities

David from United Kingdom stayed in a Superior for 5 days.
This Hotel is now in most respects truly 5 star, I say this to lay to rest some negative older comments on the site, even the pool toilet facilities are 100% marble, and the pool area is an oasis to relax in the middle of busling Jakarta, the staff are very helpful and unusually friendly. The only negative and it's a big one for many people is there is very little concern for people who do not like to be in the presence of cigarette smoke, in the lobby restaurant twice the area is allocated to smokers than non, and most mornings the non smoking area was full while the smoking area half empty, on complaint when I was unable to sit in the non smoking area I was helpfully provided with a table in the non smoking lobby area, but this area was soon polluted as a smoker soon sat close by, I did have a non smoking table reserved for the next morning, (very helpful), but I am afraid this aspect of the hotel environment is more third world than 5 Star.
Very Good Bed, Very marble bathroom, very clean walls, tea making facilities, pens paper , newspaper delivery erratic. Smokers environment not for me, but food and service excellent.i . reasonable size pool , good pool furniture, gym and massage next to, marble toilets, big jaccuzi but water not as hot as stated (pool temperature), service from pool bar good. If you are a smoker, this aspect and position might make me try elsewhere, staff very friendly. About 1km walk to nearest plaza avoided taxi etc because of heavy traffic and bad reputation although most taxis at hotel stand were Bluebird the good one. Three standards of taxi available from front desk, very polite service.Hotel Facilities

Moh from Malaysia stayed in a Superior for 2 days.
Room (superior) was okay, but shower was poor and bathroom amenities were insufficient. Service at the lobby bar was really poor as I had to wave, shout and wait for at least 10 minutes to make an order. The waitress would rather had long conversation with customers at the bar than serving new customers waiting at the lounge. Breakfast menu was considerably very good but service was disorganized though at least 10 staff were serving. I had to wait for 5 minutes before my coffee was served. On checking out, I had to carry my luggage to the taxi and stowed it into the trunk, and a staff at the desk by the entrance just watched. That was not normal for Indonesian hotel as I had been traveling to Indonesia at least twice a month for the past 5 years. May be I wasn't lucky enough this time.

A HotelTravel.com Member from Singapore stayed in a Deluxe for 15 days.
I've been staying at the Aryaduta for many years as a Hyatt Gold Card member, so I'm not sure if my room was upgraded (Room 815) for this stay. However, the room was very spacious with an additional walk-in shower in the bathroom, which I really like. Consequently, the price I paid through HotelTravel.com ($84/night)represented excellent value for money including all taxes and a full breakfast buffet!. I've booked my last two stays at this hotel (July 07 and Nov 06) through you, rather than directly as a Hyatt Gold card member, as your rates are so much better .... the only thing I lose out on is on my Hyatt Gold Card points!
Anyhow, I had a great stay at a great price!

room was very spacious. don't have time to use the hotel facilities. service very accomodating and the front desk can speak english. you can walk for 15 minutes to the train station. there's always a taxi outside the hotel but public buses are not allowed for foreigners so I don't know if buses are also accessible.
few choices for the food. overall it was very clean. one of the best value for your money.Hotel Facilities
