Waka Di Ume Resort, Bali, is an oasis of quiet serenity, only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, the cultural and artistic heart of Bali. At Waka Di Ume Resort accommodation is in the form of bungalows which are scattered down the gentle hillside and flanked by rice fields and coconut plantations so typical of the area. This is the 'true' Bali where you can relax by the pool or pamper yourself with steam baths, massages and meditation...the place to be to immerse yourself in quiet comfort.

The best hotel I have stayed with hoteltravel as well in Bali. The paddy field, transport to Ubud, good meals and the staff friendliness. Room would be excellent if there is an out door shower. Free tea meals and nice food. ...

Very peaceful and quiet. Lighting in rooms dim. 20 minute walk down hill to town was ok but wouldn't want to do it uphill on the way back. Shuttle buses infrequent for most of the day. The spa was very disappointing.

Great Hotel. A little further out from the town centre than I had hoped it would be, but ended up being quite relaxing.

Peaceful locality away from the buzz of Ubud central, but made convenient with the hourly shuttle service provided. Very friendly staff (many endowed with artistic talents) really make the stay worthwhile. The complimentary rice paddy trek adds an excellent and thoughtful touch for visitors to immerse in some mud and in a critical aspect of the Balinese way of life.

Excellent room, tasty and top quality breakfast. Good information received from reception even if there was sometime some confusion about our activities schedule - e.g. one day, they simply forgot and did not wait for us at reception although we had duly registered for the rice fields early morning walk. To their benefit, I have to say that they woke up another very nice guy who within 1/2 h managed to join us at reception and guide us on this tour.
