I stayed here from 20-24 Dec 2011. My advice is stay away from this hotel. It is a rip off. Bath doors not working. Restaurant always run out of food. Lobby is humid and looks like a storeroom. Electrical wire dangling from the wall. Room is dusty. Bed sheets looks like need a change, the color is very dark. Air-con does not work. Swimming pool dirty. In some places of the pool edge, the tiles are broken. This hotel is in a serious need of capital for refurbishment. It does not even deserve a 1 star rating.

We stay for 4 days 3 nite at Vilarisi Hotel. We arrived Bali on mon nite at about 10.30 pm and was given a welcome drink by the staff while I checked in. As everything was arranged ,so check in was a breeze. Morning we had breakfast at the restaurant before went for our tour. On the 3rd day of our stay we went sightseeing around our hotel and it was a long stretch of shops! I realised that almost all of them sells the same thing! My teenage boys enjoyed shopping at the factory outlet which we found near to our hotel. I just wish that the restaurant would change their menu every other day instead of the same thing everyday.

The bath room was not clean and bath tub is in ery bad condition. Moskitos on room due to raining season.Breakfast served is very basic with bread and fried rice. Coffee and tea is totally not suitable for drinking.Counter staff is friendly but cafe waitress never smile a single time for the 3 day we stay at the hotel.

Initially I was a bit apprehensive about going to this hotel as I had seen a couple of not-so-good reviews however I need not have been. We found the hotel to be very good. The staff were fantastic, always helpful, always fun, always professional. The smorgasbord breakfast was great especially considering the cost of the room. The restaurant meals were really delicious and very reasonably priced. We thought having filtered hot/cold water available at all times very handy - saved us buying and carrying heavy bottles of water around. We also felt the location was perfect for us, close enough to walk into Kuta, walk along the beach etc. but not too close so that it was quiet, didnt have one disburbed night. The only suggestion we feel we could make the hotel an even better place to stay is that they need a couple more lounges around the pool and replace the chairs around the table by the pool. Other than this we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again.

My family's stay at Vilarisi was generally good. Room was big enough for 2 and 3 persons. It was well lighted so that reading is possible compared with some hotels that are really dim. Having a water cooler at every floor that provides cold and hot drink is a great idea. It allows us to top up our bottles or make beverages when needed. Price is also reasonable. Safe deposit box is available so valuables can be kept there. Breakfast is limited and simple with bread and noodles but you can order eggs that are prepared on the spot. Fruits was also helpful. The beach is some 10-15 min walk away so not for those who wants a beach facing hotel. On the whole a reasonably good place.

Service was good. Staff were friendly. They provided free Wifi access at the restaurant only. This is enough for me, but they could provide Wifi access from hotel rooms to add value. Breakfast was simple but sufficient; they could have added more choices. A few power trips on the first night of stay, causing the aircon to switch off, not sure whether it is the hotel's fault. But overall, very good location, value for money, and a pleasurable stay.

We found Vilarisi hotel super for the price we payed. The room (suite) was very nice and big. staff nice and friendly. The rooftop garden was fantastic. The only downside was that the pool was quite small, and there was not much sun, but on the other hand we had it all to ourselves.

If having green mould on the bed head and a swimming pool you can't swim in, then this hotel is for you. When the highlight of the hotel is it's location or the hot water then it does not say much for the rest of it. The lift is a potential death trap and guests should be warned not to step into it. When eight people attempt to clean your room and it's still dirty then theres a problem somewhere. Highly overpriced and compares nothing with the hotel's own glossy promotion. Internet barely works and this hotel needs an extreme makeover, or better still ,demolishing.

I booked family room for 4 person. The room has 2 king size bed and the room so spaces..the toilet is a bit dirty but still acceptable. The most important thing is the service that they provided. The staf is friendy,kind and patient and act fast when u has any request.The enviroment is quiet and relax...is a nice place to stay. If you like happening place like Kuta, you can walk bout 25 minits to be there. But around that area with 10 to 15 minits have a lot of restarant and pubs that you can hang around there. Overall, i feel satisfied and happy for this hotel.

the hotel is basic. ideal for travellers on a tight budget as it is not too far from the city and the beach. the lanes are kinda dark at night though. the staff are very friendly and will assist with regards to any of your enquiries to the best of thier abilities. indeed its value for money as the rooms are quite spacious.

We loved our stay at Vilarisi - our only regret was that we had to move on for the rest of our trip. The air conditioning was great, the view from our room was spectacular, the food was damn tasty, and the location was fine. It's not too far from the center of town, and it doesn't drop you into the craziness of Poppies I and Poppies II too soon. You can work your way in when you want. We were given free 15 minute trial massages by the desk, so we got to enjoy their top-floor spa. There was no problem with booking/paying by credit card, and the room reservation worked great. It's a really good idea to have a room booked for the first few days, then you can search out the cheap places when you get there (if that's your plan). The staff is super friendly - we'd definitely stay there again.

The room is pretty spacious but there are only limited cable tv channels. the only english channel is HBO and other english channels are all about australian rugby. IN general, we had a good stay in Vilarisi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is very spacious and Clean. good facilities but the calbe television has very limited channels. there's only HBO and the films they show always repeat. The staff are very helpful and friendly. THey always give you a pleasant smile and greeting everytime you come across them. Its kinda far from Kuta beach and you have to go to a long walk to get to the end of the beach. You can ask the from desk to get you a bluebird cab.

Access to beach and the entertainment district is good. Hotel atmosphere is also nice especislly in- house corridor at night. On the other hand, air conditiononer works economically. breakfast is poor and you'd better bring with slipper because floor is not so clean.But particularly it is very very value for money. I recommend this as a transfer hotel.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the famous Kuta beach. But it is very safe to even walk alone at night. The rooftop garden is simply awesome and the foods served at the hotel restaurant were not expensive. The complimentary breakfast was quite good too. As for the room, we got a large TV with satellite channels. No complaint except that the elevator serving the hotel was a bit old and small. There is a 24-hour convenience store right in front of the hotel.

The toilet stink smell is heavy and the floor is oily even after room cleaning. Room condition is good. TV Channels got lot of variety e.g: ESPN, HBO.. 1.Aircon was uncold... less energy! 2.During check out day, my driver unable to enter to front hotel due to road closure, he had called to the receiptionist to inform us. But we are waiting outside for 10 minutes without informming. We only get know our driver is waiting outside (walking distance is 5 minute) after we asked the receiptionist.

with regards , Air-conditioned in the room 402 ,not cold , need to be clean and service . we had personally remove the air filter and clean off the dirt . Bedroom Floor had ants around the make-up tables and on the fridge . Anyway , overall , it was a comfortable living experience for us , friendly service staff, front office , cozy ambience of the Al Fresco dining balcony . Foods wise - the Chef need to learn how to make half-boiled eggs ( 4 days , we had it was over-cook ( B'fast ) & Foo-yong crab - should be fried with julienne vegetables , eggs and crabmeat .( not fried with starch ) dinner menu . Well , anyway , overall we had a pleasant stayed .

For the money we paid, we really did't expect much. Most of the staff were friendly. The superior rooms we booked all come in different size. Cleanliness of rooms should have been improved. The floor was dirty & one of the towel provided was dotted with mold(?). One of our rooms could be ready only at 7pm when we checked-in. But when we requested a late check out at 6pm for 1 room, we had to pay for it!

Decent room, but the bathroom facilities (bathtub) requires some maintenance. Pretty dark at night to walk around. Not advisable to be alone. Good food for good money and friendly staff of restaurant. Taxi is not often at the area. Only private drivers.

Generally pretty good for this class of hotel with a small safe and refridgerator in the room. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good for shopping and a 500m walk to Kuta beach. Breakfast is a simple affair. Other meals are decent but not particularly good value.

Staff friendliness, humility and helpfulness left me and my sister with a very pleasant & distinct memory albeit my short stay there. Credit is given to staff: the receptionist & his fellow colleagues, having entertained patiently all our enquiries on our first trip/ day to Bali. A small hotel with little frills & fancy but hardly compromised on comfort & overall cleanliness - just the right type for any budget travellers. Room is done with basic furnitures that reflect Balinese influence at level best. The hip & happening part of Kuta is still quite a distance from this hotel by foot. Nevertheless, many eateries & conveniences are apparent along the main road of Jln Melasti which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. This hotel is a wise choice for one if you're not constantly yearning for the busy & crowded part of Kuta. Overall interior design of the place/ rooms and cleanliness can be further improved.

For the price we paid, I'd say Vilarisi is a good budget hotel. It's cheap, clean, and have wonderful staffs. For a standard room, I'd say it was big, for the price. Our rooms were cleaned and made up everyday without fail. Staffs greeted us each time upon seeing us. Provided room service, swimming pool, roof top garden, it's enough for such a small hotel. Very easy to get to the hub of shopping, though the walk to the beach is of a distance. Though things were basic in the hotel, it really is still value for money. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Vilarisi Hotel.
