This is the perfect retreat for those looking for a smaller resort with a 'personal' feel.
Vila Lumbung Hotel is located 5 km north west of Legian/Kuta, perfectly situated to enjoy your holiday in quietness and tranquility, but only a 10 minute inexpensive taxi-ride away from the shopping and entertainment places of this pulsing tourist center. A quiet beach is about 800 meters away from the hotel itself.
Edward Pratt, United Kingdom "Absolutely beautiful hideaway resort. Room was beautiful with its own private outdoor bath and shower area. Also had balcony and day bed room. Quiet and tranquil and friendly staff. A little far from the beach but easy to reach shops and restaurants via a cheap taxi or a 10 minute walk. Only let down was staff failed to organise a few bookings we requested, until the last minute, but still very good value for money. We should have made them confirm with us when booking arranged rather than waiting till the next day. Hard to find this quality of accomodation at other better located beach resorts in Bali."
