Sunari Villas and spa in Lovina is not what you expected. When you arrive you think wauw because the reception looks beautiful but the room was old and the bathroom looks old and that's why it's seems dirty!

This is a very nice place to stay. The entry lobby area is in the process of being renovated, but that has no bearing on the quality of the hotel complex. We only stayed 2 nights. It is a small distance from the centre area of Lovina Beach but there is not much in the village area anyway. The villa room was large with a king sized comfortable bed. With an outside shower incorporated into the bathroom, it was a pleasant surprise but was a way for mosquitoes to enter the room although there was not many. It was very quiet with only a few people staying at the complex. The restaurant and pool area were very well presented and lead straight onto the beach area. Breakfast buffet was very good with a reasonable variety.Hotel Facilities

Michael from Canada stayed in a Superior for 2 days.
Room was spacious and clean. Open air bathroom was novel especially when raining. Although the bathroom was humid the AC kept the rest of the room cool. Fantastic pool and service. Love the location right on the beach. Some sheets stained but still clean. Staff were very attentive but not overly doting. WiFi was not yet installed but was told it would be soon. Would have used laundry service but felt it was somewhat overpriced. Beautiful gardens, well manicured. Would definitely recommend to all!Hotel Facilities

A HotelTravel.com Member from Norway stayed in a Family villa for 2 days.
My family of four all adult large Americans had a family suite with a plunge pool in a walled compound which was 25 steps away from a huge deep pool with a black sand beach facing the ocean just a few feet way from hotel property. Boats for dolphin tours, fishing and snorkling was lining the beach and only two hawkers tried to sell items and they went away quickly. The private plunge pool was perfect for us, as was the little gazebo, perfect for private meals, and a bridge game we had been waiting to play as a family. The room service was good for one meal though a bit expensive, but tastefully presented and authenticly western and asian. The bedrooms of the two room were non adjoining and were just large enough for the double bed and mosquito net. I asked for another bed in the room of my two adult children- a boy and girl, because there were no twin beds. This was an additional charge. A twin bed mattress was dumped at the foot of the double and not made up for three hours. There were only five rooms being rented the first day we arrived, so service was very good. We asked about cultural activities and were sent to a local dinner restaurant in the little town that charged 50,000 for a buffet dinner and a Legong Dance. The dinner had watery vegetable soup, stale keropo, weak curry, but good cooked fish and green bean with coconut salad. The one young girl dancer did not have on traditional dance costume or flowers and headdress, but she was a very talented dancer and heHotel Facilities

Hui from China stayed in a Standard for 3 days.
I use the excellent cheap price to get the best living quality .The Sunari hotel has a big plastic swimming pool. The room is clean, simple and big with half outdoor bathrome. This is a big hotel with hundred rooms.Served with rich breakfast.A blemish in an otherwise perfect thing is it's a little far from Lovina center. It's hard to walk to Lovina center in the hot day.If the hotel could provide bicycles, that would be perfect.
The Sunari Spa is wonderful,I have a Lovina traditional massage. It can not be better anymore.I'll return to Sunari hotel for it's Spa service.

Extremely value for money, however walking to Lovina centre is about 1,5-2 km, too far. Renting a car (+-25 USD) or motorbike (3 USD) is highly recommendedHotel Facilities

Michael from Australia stayed in a Standard for 4 days.
The rooms were extra large and well presented. Very clean and tidy. The swimming pool was big also. Food & drink at resort expensive. Restaurants & bars are a 15 minute walk to lovina square from the resort where prices are very reasonable ( resort provides free transport to lovina square when arranged in advance). Overall, definately value for money.Hotel Facilities
