Hotel was really nice and staff are fantastic. Both pool areas are great. The room was spotless the only complaint would be the lighting isn't that great for reading. I really cannot complain about the hotel or the service the staff are all great. I would stop there again and recommend it to anyone going to Bali.

We booked a deluxe room (room only) However on arriving at the hotel we were informed that buffet breakfast would be included which was an added bonus. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices catering to all nationalities. The hotel is handy for shopping and restaurants. The room we had was at ground level, with a terrace, overlooking the garden pool and was very comfortable. The staff were all really helpful, friendly and very obliging. I had twisted my knee at Perth airport before our flight and had difficulty walking for a few days. Every day more than one member of staff asked me how my knee was. The young lass on duty at breakfast had a fantastic memory and knew the guests by name. We had several lunches sat around the pool and they were all good. The garden pool area itself was very relaxing, surrounded by lots of gardens, fishponds and even a few ducks swimming on the pond. We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant attached to the hotel (on the main road side). The food was delicious and my husband said it was one of the nicest meals he had had while in Bali. We also hired a car through the hotel for 5 days. It cost us $130 all up and actually had 6 seats so plenty of room if a family or group of people wanted to hire a car together. The lady at the tour desk was also very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our holiday at the Santika and would definitely recommend this hotel

This is a great hotel - lovely staff, lovely location and a nice quiet pool area set in beautiful gardens. It is also situated close to "the action" and shops etc but as the gardens are so lovely it is very quiet and restful within the hotel grounds. The standard of the food was great - the breakfasts are amazing! Our room was very clean and we enjoyed being able to sit on our balcony and overlook the lovely pool area and gardens. We would certainly stay here again.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Santika. The staff were excellent and very friendly, the restaurants we ate in we all enjoyed and was reasonably priced. The pool area was great; the patronage was not noisy and was family friendly. Overall, I would recommend the Santika to my family and friends and I am quite prepared to book there for our next time in Bali. Thank you all for a great holiday.

A pleasant hotel but rooms a bit old. Hotel could do with some refurbishment and updating especially the bathrooms. Very busy at breakfast - not enough tables for guests. Gardens and pool very clean. Location excellent. The beach area was a bit dirty.

We could not fault this hotel. The room was massive, pools were beautiful. We loved the location right on the beach and a few minutes by foot to Water Bom Park, Discovery shopping centre and the Art Market. Kids would have liked hash browns and better baked beans on the breakfast buffet but I am really scraping to find something we weren't happy with. A kids club was about the only thing missing but our kids are old enough to be with us all the time anyway. The hotel photographer, Agus took some fantastic family photos and individual photos of the kids. We had a wonderful family holiday.

My family stayed at Santika for 2 nights. Santika has a good location for enjoying Sunset at Kuta Beach. My kids had a gorgeous time at Waterbom, which is accessible from Santika. The room was spacious enough and staff at Santika were very friendly. However, facilities are quite old.

Lovely hotel-great service-nothing too much trouble for their very friendly staff. We were upgraded to a Garden Bungalow after checking in and finding all Premier Rooms booked. Quite nice-a few mozzies around but the outdoor shower was a delight. Everyone was so friendly! Always asking if everything was ok -sometimes to the point of being a bit annoying! We usually stay in Sanur and that's where we will return to on our next visit. We found the beach area dirty in parts. Buffet breakfast was fantastic -usually still full from night before to really enjoy. Main pool could maybe use some shade sails over the top? Quite warm and not that refreshing some days.

We had a Premiere room, it was delightful. You walk in and the bathroom and beds are on one level then you have a step down lounge area with a large sofa and coffee table then you walk out the door to the balcony with 2 chairs and a little table. The hotel was close enough to walk to the main shopping there were plenty of ATMs around, money changers and laundrys (at about AUD $3 per kilo). There were up market restuarants everywhere. Tuban is the area to be in I think it is more up market.

We stayed in a premiere room at the Santika for three weeks. Our stay was most enjoyable. The hotel facilities were all in excellent condition and of a good standard. We were constantly being asked by the very friendly staff in we were happy with our room, breakfast etc., incidently breakfast was also of a very good standard and more than adequate. Possibly one of the best features of the hotel was its location. You could walk to Kuta Square or Discovery and then walk back to the hotel for some quiet relaxation in those excellent hotel gardens and pool. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday in a very well run hotel.

We chose this hotel for the last 3 days of our holiday as we wanted to be have a beach front location and to be out of Kuta a little bit. This was ideal, there was plenty of great restaurants around and shops for last minute gifts and wasnt very far to walk in to Kuta if needed. We really loved our room as it was pool view, large and clean. Will look at staying there again. 2 large pools, 1 with a swim up bar, excellant breakfast. Sparkling clean, turn down service was a nice touch which wasnt expected. Only had breakfasts there, however everything you could want was available, Egg station, cereal,breads, waffles, banana and pine fritters, bacon, soups etc. Beautiful gardens, ponds, even a small playground for children.

Good value overall in an excellent location. Close enough to walk to Kuta, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle too. The staff were exceptionally friendly and keen to offer good service. They were very quick to try and help in any way. The beachside bar/restuarant was being reconstructed/refurbished and it was pity we could not enjoy that, but it's good to see it's being upgraded and we understand that these things have to happen. The resort is not too big and was not full of kids (important to us!), although there were some families there. We really can't fault the Santika. It isn't the best hotel we've visited in the SE Asia resorts, but we would certainly go back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Santika. We were in a ground floor deluxe room. All we had to do was open the door and the pool was a couple of steps away, we loved the closeness of the beach and the convenient location. The staff were very friendly and polite at all times. We would love to go back and spend more time there.

overall good to excellent quality with friendly and helpful staff, who were prepared to assist where needed. Facilities for a relaxing holiday beside a pool just what we needed to chill out. Breakfast was diverse and fresh/ excellent quality. Had 1 evening meal that was value for money mainly because there was a discounted meal/drinks arrangement. Although property was nearly full, it didn't feel over-crowded at any time.Only trivial down-side was being woken about 7.30 each am by the garden staff sweeping outside---not really a big issue. Convenient to many restaurants,good surfing and waterbom. Would stay again and recommend if were to return to Bali, although overall we are a bit Balied-out. The island is not the value for money it used to be but hasn't really improved its offerings to visitors to make up for the added costs.

Purchases from the Bar's and Room Service were extremely expensive, we found ourselves eating out for each meal. Perfect location for famlies as the sound of children playing was constant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. Purchases from the hotel were extremely over-priced. Overall nice place to stay, if you plan on going out every day. Excellent places to eat were walking distance from the hotel.

We have previously stayed at this hotel and will continue to do so. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. We arrived well before check in and were not due to leave until late in the night on the last day. Our luggage was looked after and we were provided with a hospitality room to have a shower before we left at no additional cost. Would definitely recommend.

i loved staying at the santika and will be staying there again on my next visit to bali. the staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough for us. the breakfast food was lovely and staff were so helpful and friendly. i loved this hotel and its in a great position. i moved to another hotel which i regretted and wished i had stayed the whole two weeks at the santika. just cant say enough good things about this hotel. the best place to stay in bali and will definetly stay there again. being slightly dissabled thanks to all to helped me and make my holiday easier for me. best wishes to them all and my best regards.

Location of the hotel is great, the minute you walk out from the hotel, there are a wide varieties of food stall selection, from western, italian, and locals food. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.

We have been to Bali 11 times, just wish we had stayed at this hotel the first time. Great position for shopping and restaurants. Room was a little small but there was a child accompanying us so the extra bed was required. Room service was great, clean towels and extra bottles of water morning and night. Ground floor rooms in the deluxe wing were right near the beach. Pool a great size and loads of sun loungers and clean towels available. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food. Every member of staff from gardener, pool service & cleaners to reception was very polite,helpful and obliging. Would certainly recommend this hotel and definately stay there again

Their Premeire rooms were all booked when we arrived and they upgraded us to one of the bungalows. It was very spacious, comfortable and nicely layed out. We loved it!! The only problem was that because they are roofed with thatch, the mosquitoes were a bit troublesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay there again!!

Fantastic service provided by all staff, rooms cleaned and fresh towels twice a day. On site resaurants provided excellent food and value for money. Location is perfect as it is close to everything and yet once in off the street it feels as if you are in your own private oasis. A big plus is that you get an ocean breeze through the resort as it has its own beach frontage. The only complaint was the thatched rooves on the garden bungalows have no accoustic quality so the noise from the aircraft/airport at night took some getting used to initially. The Premier and Deluxe rooms do not have this issue, something to think about if you're paying top dollar for a bungalow and are a light sleeper. The on site massage facility seems overpriced considering the number of spa's and massage facilities availible within walking distance and at less than half the santika's prices. Fantastic resort, would happily recommend. We booked our room on the internet through HotelTravel.com and saved approximately 50% on the hotels rates, hence the upgrade to a Garden bungalow. Definitely going back.

The hand towel which was served at check-in with a welcome drnk was too old and smelly. It was not a goold start to welcome hotel guests. However, it is still my farovite hotel in Bali, because of reliable service.

The room we were originally given smelled badly of sewerage coming from the bathroom drain - the hotels solution was to pour deodourant down it- we explained that this was unacceptable and were immediately upgraded to a premier room. This room was far superior in location, size, decor & furnishing to our original room and only occasionally smelled of sewerage. We would recomend booking this standard of room as a minimum.

We've booked for a Deluxe Room and got upgraded to their Garden Rooms. The room was spacious!! Everything came in pairs including sinks/toiletries/furniture. Staff were very friendly and despite its location right in the heart of Tuban, the hotel's beautiful gardens provide a truly relaxing feel.
