The Ritz is a gem of a place to escape to. Peaceful surroundings, wonderful seaviews, a large property to get lost and not run into other guests if you want some peace and quiet. The restaurants are pricey but serve fantastic food, so there's no real compulsion to leave to discover meals outside the premises. It's very private, the security makes you feel safe, and the number of pools and activities will ensure your 3 or 4 night stay there is never enough....

The room that I was staying could was ok except it was on the 1st level....i was expecting higher floor though. Service was good and efficient. The hotel has wide breakfast selection, awesome. Staff was friendly. Spa rate seems over pricing. After dinner, my husband & I returned to the hotel and there were a few times the hotel went BLACKOUT! We were in the lobby then , there were a few guests too. It was fixed soon but it went blackout again. We were afraid to take the lift since this incident happened a few times at one short. No one aplolgise on this incident....I wonder if it's common in this place?

There are many ants at the swimming pool one day when we were at the pool side. However, we understand that happens especially with all the trees and waters at the surrounding. Also, at the Padi restaurant when we had dinner on the first night, bugs were everywhere.

Ritz Bali is unique as it offers two drastic holiday opinions sorted out by most holiday makers. It offers the commercially accessible that works well for families and the young couples. Yet within the same estate a more upscale and executive opinions are available for those that graviate towards high-end and tranquil settings. Either opinions however does comes with a price tag.

The hotel team is very professional. The hotel facility is great. The views from the hotel is spectacular but the location of the hotel is average. This hotel is not for you if you prefer to sunbath on the beach. You need to take a buggy ride to get to the beach and it also requires you to hike a couple hundred of winding steps before you are physically on the beach. Going down the steps was a a challenge but climbing back up was brutal. The wave is powerful and the current is too strong for swimming. Overall, this hotel offers great value.

Beautiful property overall. Friendly staff and great breakfast. No immediate beach access and quite a distance from town are the only negatives.

I have stayed in this hotel as well as another 5-star hotel, however I find this hotel is overly priced. I pay almost the same price for another hotel but I have free spa package for each day of my stay and airport pick up facilities but this hotel does not offer anything else. The food at the other hotel is also much better and offer much more variety. The cost of dining and spa in this hotel is also not worth the value.

Room surprising larger than expected. Small TV. No kettle or inhouse beverages. Needs more bottled water. Only 1 towel bar is insufficient. Shower gel bottle was without a cap. A floor rug infront of sink and before toilet bowl will be appreciated. Spa menu was missing. Liked most - hospitality. Staff are invaluable assets. Friendliest, eager to serve, gentle, helpful, attentive to the smallest details. For all staff - reception, customer service, travel desk, housekeeping, poolside attendants, waiters, spa therapists. Dislike most - food is too pricey. A meal for 2 in a restaurant in town costs as much a single plate of noodle ordered via room service. Food comes in small portions. Being in an isolated area of the Jimbaran beach, nothing is close by and needs at least 30 mins of taxi to town.
