Anna from Australia stayed in a Superior pool view for 6 days.
This is a great hotel - I have stayed there 3 times now and will keep going back. Everything is clean and if you have any problems, the staff will go out of their way to help you. The first night, I found my bed a bit too hard and the airconditioning unit a bit noisy - I mentioned it to housekeeping and by the time I got back to my room later that day I had a new mattress on the bed and a brand new airconditioning unit installed! They will do anything to make you comfortable and it is such a good value hotel. The pools are excellent and the beauty spa is as good if not better than the spas..
Please be patient…

Anyhony from Australia stayed in a Deluxe for 10 days in October.
The room we stayed in had a number of faults, the ceiling was badly cracked, bathroom door did not close properly, one bed was creaking and most furnishing was outdated and need of repair. Generally a good cleanup and overhaul needed.Hotel Facilities

The apartments are in desperate need of an upgrade as everything is old, worn or breaking. The cleanliness was not up to scratch for a 4 star hotel - in fact I would seriously question the rating! The location is what makes this hotel - nothing else really.Hotel Facilities

Initially put into a room with an airconditioner that wasn't working very well. Friends were put into a room which had mould on the roof which appears to have been cleaned with bleach, leaving a disgusting bleach/mould smell in their room. Asked to be moved but could not be moved until the next day. Were moved the next day to two very nice rooms with air con working and no mould. I have stayed at this hotel 8 times now and whilst most of the accomodation has been good there is definately a need for it to be refurbished.
Overall an enjoyable stay and I am going to stay there again as I think the hotel is doing its best to upgrade the rooms over time.Hotel Facilities

There's little guidance along the way. It would be better if the hotel abl to transport their passengers to the hotel instead finding our ways to come.
The room is not well-maintained. I could see the dirt of the cup where i need to firt use.The service is good. Especially thanks to the in-charge of morning breakfast buffet. As i have lost my green addidas jacket. But they manage to find it back for me and get it back.No public transport will be ablt to get u there unless you able to take a cab. And when u need to go visited one places or shop around. There's only limited range outside the hotel.Overall hotel is well maintained except for my room 507. because it only change the bedsheet and clean up the cups for me. Thanks. But the table is not well clean up and i could find the dirt of milo on top of it.Hotel Facilities

Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort is situated in an excellent location backing right on to Legian beach and close to shopping, bars and restaurants. The resort itself has beautiful gardens, 3 swimming pools, sun lounges, 3 restaurants and also offers free shuttles to Kuta a few times a day. The staff were always friendly and willing to assist with anything. Our deluxe room was clean and fairly spacious with a cute little courtyard to sit outside. Overall we had a great stay at Jayakarta and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Bali!Hotel Facilities

Ally from Australia stayed in a Deluxe for 2 days.
Even after checking the box that asked if you wanted a ground floor and double bed on arrival we were given our key and pointed in the direction of a room with 3 beds in it. I asked to be given a room with a double which we got, but it over looked the building site of the hotel next door so all you heard if you sat outside was banging and drilling all day long. I asked to be moved yet again and was put on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Not What I wanted At All!!! The staff were a mix of pleasant and couldn't care less. I found the staff at reception indifferent to requests and not willing to assist. The room itself was in great need of an update at least 5 years ago, in saying that they were at least clean. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Over all we were disappointed in our stay and would not recommend anyone to stay there or go back ourselves.Hotel Facilities

Kim from Australia stayed in a Deluxe for 9 days.
My husband and I found the Jayakarta to be everything we were expecting. We knew it was a large family style hotel resort and that was exactly what we got.
Our deluxe room was overlooking beautiful gardens, was centrally located in the resort close to the quieter pool and the room itself was totally quite. The bathroom could do with some updating but was clean and had everything in it that we needed (note no hairdryer though, but we took our own). The television wasn't the greatest, but who sits in their room watching TV in Bali? The main breakfast restaurant was disappointing and considering our rate included daily breakfast, we were hoping for more from our service, and we often felt like cattle being shooed though the yards. The 2nd smaller restaurant near the smaller pool was fantastic, serving the same breakfast but with better service and no long waits or the feeling like you had to get in and get out quick. The reception staff and concierge were great. The location and feeling of security was what we found the best.We are going back next year to Bali and would stay there again. This time we'll take our 8 year old son, as he'd love the family environment. The Jayakarta is perhaps not the best hotel for older couples or anyone after the boutique resort experienceHotel Facilities

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times but it has never been as full as it was this year, we had to wait for food to come out at breakfast time (every morning) no matter what time we went down. The noise level was unbelievable as in every morning we were woken at 4.00 - 5.00am with kids running up and down the hallway. When we asked to move rooms they only had twin beds available (not good enough). I suggest that they put all couples in one area and all familys with children in another. We spoke to a few people at the hotel who said that they would not be staying there again and neither will we.Hotel Facilities

Jayakarta was one of three resorts we stayed at during our visit to Bali to attend a family wedding, but I found the resort size meant a less personal experience with Staff. Room facilities, whilst clean and adequate, were quite western. Location to restaurants along the beach & shopping - great. But BINTANG drinkers be warned!!!Very expensive at the resort's bar & restaurant where a large bottle was rup74,000 with tax!!!! Signs warned outside food & drinks not allowed. But sunsets were gorgeous from the beach!Hotel Facilities

Stayed in 1bdrm apartment which gives you a lot more space in your room. 3 pools available at the hotel which increases your chances of getting a sunbed which is good. Gardens are well kept and staff are friendly. Big hotel, plenty of pools, plenty of space, excellent breakfast options-hot and cold. Good security- quiet at night but close(stumbling distance) to restaurants(The Lanai was our fave), cafes and heaps of shopping. We took our 3 young kids and we all felt safe- no dramas at all. The rooms are tired(mould in all 4 bathrooms that we stayed in -on the ceiling and some walls) and despite using this website and multiple mails they still didn't get the rooms right- 1 bed short and family separated on 2 different floors- sorted out for the next night though. You have to expect this in Indo and go with the flow. I would stay here again as it has a really nice ambience about it.Hotel Facilities

Our room was clean our bed was comfortable but the furniture was a bit worn. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was a long way from pool and restaurant. Hotel common area was good and all staff very friendly and helpful. Only swam once in 7 days as pool was very cold in August. Had breakfast included in our deal but was average at best didn't even bother 3 days. Only thing worth having was the fresh cooked omelets but as only 2 were cooked at a time and everyone else had the same idea the queue and the wait was lengthy. Also did the cultural dinner which was a bit disappointing. Overall good location, average room, good service and poor food.Hotel Facilities

Dion from Australia stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 6 days.
We stayed in the apartments & not the main hotel. Our 1 room apartment was comfortable & clean but located right at the front of the complex lacked atmosphere. Staff were functional & helpful but lacked the usual Bali cheery spark. Located at the top end of Kuta it was a taxi ride to Kuta central - all of $2.20Aus. However there are plenty of good, well-priced restaurants - $16Aus for 2 for 2 courses & 2 drinks each - & a good variety of shops to buy just about anything. The 3 pools are great & the beach is right outside. So the location is just perfect for a typical Bali holiday.Hotel Facilities

The hotel staff were generally helpful (though there were 1 or 2 who didn't quite seem like they cared) and we managed to get many useful tips on transport, local cuisine and shopping. The hotel was also spacious with ample facilities - the spa was affordable and enjoyable. Best part was the beach was right next to the hotel, hence we had breakfast by the sea every morning. Security was also good. Only thing is the rooms need an upgrading - there were many mosquitoes and everything seemed kinda old.Hotel Facilities
