Olivier from France stayed in a Garden wing for 14 days in July.
Wonderful place to stay with the family or in couple. Beautiful. Perfect to have a rest and take it easy. Only the food is not at the same level as the whole quality of this hotel (but I speak as a French man. But the prices are very acceptable indeed, so we can say that it's ok anyway. The proof is that I'd like to go there again!

We Really enjoyed our stay at the Puri Santrian. The pool area was not over full because your right on the beach and you have both options for the beds. The Beach View Rooms were Clean and not too small with adjoining rooms available. Service was a little slow around the pool for food, but your in Bali things are slower. There was no shuttle as advertised to Kuta which was disappointing but we got a Driver to take us for 3 hour to where we wanted to go from the Hotel.Hotel Facilities

The staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens and surrounds were kept at 100% neat, tidy and picturtesque. The pools were sparkling and clean. The spa was ultra relaxing and good value. The beachfront facilities were excellent. I would recommend the hotel to any one looking for a relaxing holiday in Bali. The only improvement I would suggest is that Bintang be available as well as Bali Hai beer.

I've stayed here twice and both times found it to be a very nice hotel, the villa was nice and clean and the grounds / pools etc are very well kept. Great hotel in a nice location. Was upgraded from a beach wing room to a suite, which was an excellent room. The only issue was when we accidently left my mobile phone charger behind after checking out, we contacted the hotel the same day asking them to check the room and explained exactly where the charger was. Very beautiful hotel! Well-kept grounds! Fantastic location! Great room (Santrian Club-room) although I moved to another club room because of the noise from the pool-house motor which was 3 meters away from room 284
Staff are very friendly and respectfull. I did have a lot of problems though with my reservation as the staff only 2 days prior to my arrival actually checked the nature of my reservation and had caused lots of confusion by then. Also I recieved a message to check out tomorrow 2 days too early. So the administration is sometimes a bit sloppy.Otherwise a great hotel, as long as you don't mind being in a place with almost exclusively European guests and mostly (rather overweight) pensioners at that.Hotel Facilities

My wife and i stayed at the Santrian Club room which was very nice but the cable was not great. Only had 3 channels in english. The 3 pools were good and the staff was friendly. We had some mosquitos in the room but once we called room service the problem was solved.
The continental breakfast was good and well assorted. The beach is not great during low tide.
Overall a great place for couples of any age, but we don't recommend the hotel for families with children.Hotel Facilities

One evening to go to a restaurant (staff made advertising to hotel guest during the day) of Santrian Group (italian restaurant : The Village) which is not inside the hotel, at desk of reception / luggage staff told it was 25 000 Roupias as in fact by taxi meter (we took it in the street) it was 11 800 Roupias ! Of course, expense is very low but it is not fair for a member of a staff hotel to want someone pay twice the real price.
In Italian restaurant (fine but rather expensive for the contry : 100 $ for 3 persons) the suppose 10 % discount due on food (for guest statying uin Puri Santrian) was not on the bill. Just average (continental breakfast)
The Italian restaurant (not in the hotel) is fine but rather expensive.
In south part of Sanur : quiet and shops around. Always use a taxi meter (Bali taxi) and do not accepts fare of witing driver to the reception counter.

A great hotel in a perfect little spot. We stayed in the beach wing and the room was excellant. Very large bed which allows two people to spread out in comfort. Puri Santrian has for me a perfect location, Sanur. Please observe their smoking policy. Arrived and found out, we had a non smoking room. Was told that most hotels in Bali smoking was not allowed in the rooms. The reason was - aircondition and smoke detectors in the room, but we could move to a lower cat. with no smoke detector and allowed to smoke in the room...In my opinion that's nonsens, and their statement about smoking in rooms at other hotels is not true. Through your agent in Bali we solved the problem. Their new spa is exellent and the rest of the hotel facilities as well. Also observe that in the beach wing they have some rooms facing the back of the restaurant, meaning that they are very dark and have no view, we also at first had a room in this location, but managed to change at no extra cost.Hotel Facilities
