AMANDA from Australia stayed in a Deluxe for 10 days.
This was the first time my children and I had been to Bali. We were slightly apprehensive as far as what to expect. We appreciate that the Puri Raja is not a new hotel, however the room, garden, restuarant and other facilities were kept in an excellent state of repair and cleanliness. This was enhanced by the beautiful friendly and caring staff.
Please be patient…

Neryl from Australia recently stayed in a Superior for 7 days.
Great location, happy friendly staff, 2 great pools and spacious room for 2 adults. Many Aussies stay there creating a fun atmosphere. This was our 4th stay at this hotel and we will return next year.Hotel Facilities

LEANNE from Australia recently stayed in a Superior for 5 days.
Well now we know why it has been so hard to get a booking here. We arrived at 1am to a warm welcoming smile. Check in was very fast. (we were exhausted) , seemed to take forever to get to our room. It is a very long hotel. Must confess when we first got in our room I thought OMG what flea ridden hotel have I booked for us (rooms very plain and dull) and to top it off had this hard pillow that was just crumbles. Anyway we woke up the next morning and were given brand new pillows, and found the room was much better looking minus our exhaustion. We were about 50 m from there fantastic pool area. Breakfast is amazing if you get the deals that include breakfast you basically get given a menu and you pick as much as you want including bacon and Nescafe. The only downfall is TV, hardly any in English. 2 I think. Overall excellent hotel. Hubby says I must book again.Hotel Facilities

Ann from Australia recently stayed in a Superior for 5 days.
This is the second time I have stayed here and it was just as good as the first time. The accommodation is good, the rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were always smiling. Right on the beach, if you like a good walk, you could walk to Kuta along the beach whilst checking out great places to eat. The swim up bar is great and the menu has a good range to chose from. My favorite always, is mee goreng. This feels higher than a 3.5 star hotel and value for money is great. EnjoyHotel Facilities

Nicole from Australia recently stayed in a Superior for 5 days.
Had a great stay. The staff were polite and friendly, nothing was too hard to provide. Can't comment on food as I had room service one night and this option is always not as good as actual restaurant dining. Breakfasts were great. Coffee could be better. Loved the cocktails at the swim-up bar and the prices! Twenty minute brisk walk to Kuta, great for excercise and burning off the calories from far too much fine dining at restaurants. Cheap fare to Seminyak as well. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for those on an $80 a night budget.Hotel Facilities

Wonderful hotel, very friendly staff. Breakfast was fabulous, it is a la carte not the usual buffet. Having two pools was great and the pool bar was always staffed by smiling faces. Loved the beachfront location, nothing like having breakfast watching the waves roll in.Hotel Facilities

The Puri Raja was a fantastic place for our holiday in Bali. The location was great, all the hotels, restraunts and pubs you could want along the beach at the back of the hotel were within easy walking distance, while there is plenty of shopping and taxi's available out the front of the hotel. The grounds of the hotel are very well maintained and the staff always say hello. The room was basic but very clean, made up every day and the air con worked well. We also stayed at another 4 star resort in Bali but much preferred the Puri Raja, will definitely be returning.Hotel Facilities

The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is big so if you have a room towards the beach end it gets annoying walking through the hotel dropping shopping off or just popping back into your room for something. Staff friendly, hotel pretty quiet. I would say its a 3 star though, great location.Hotel Facilities

I really enjoyed my stay at Puri Raja. I had a twin superior room close to the 2nd pool and restaurant ( beach end) A friend joined me after 4 days...so I rearranged the furniture a bit to provide more space between the beds and we never felt cramped. The room was clean, well serviced each day. Even minor faults, such as a blown light bulb were rectified immediately. Room service was fast and inexpensive. Breakfast is a la carte but service was prompt. The restaurant in the evenings was deserted, even though they offered karaoke nights and special dinners...too many places along the beach strip I guess.I would stay here again.Hotel Facilities

John from Australia stayed in a Superior for 7 days.
Our room was clean bright and spacious and very comfortable. Verandahs and balconies are very close and we found it a bit noisy at times when people were drinking outside. Breakfast was OK but disappointed it was not buffet style where we could help ourselves. On the whole it was good value for what we paid.Hotel Facilities

Rooms off a lush, tropical treed walkway. Separate entrances with either a balcony or a patio - nice to sit outside. A friendly atomosphere. Good for families, couples or mature travellers wanting quiet but still central accomodation away from the touristy/party atmosphere of Kuta. Would stay here again.Hotel Facilities

Debra from Australia stayed in a Superior for 14 days.
Puri Raja is a typical 3 star resort, I was dissapointed in the breakfasts as every other place we have stayed in has a buffet breakfast where you can choose what you want to eat and if it's an American breakfast you watch it get cooked. At Puri Raja, you have to order your meal, they bring it out to you and it's usually cold by the time you get it especially the toast. Also the serves are very small and they don't allow you to order anymore. The rooms are clean and cleaned every day, no different to many of the other motels around, the pools are small and I think because of that, the water is always warm which is not refreshing in that climate. I can't really complain other than the food thing, although we were there for the NYEPI holiday and tourists are not allowed out, they had a compulsory dinner at the motel which cost us RP135.000 and it was disgusting, the food was cold, there were flies in the salads, and you just couldn't eat it, which was bad because we were'nt allowed out to get food anywhere else. I probably wouldn't stay there again but only because of the food, if that was better, then Puri Raja would be the place to stay as it is not too far to walk to Kuta, but far enough away to be a bit quiter, clean, well presented etc.Hotel Facilities
