Puri Benoa reflects the essence of bali. The lush landscaping, external decor of the suites - elaborate doors, the different and interesting base relief sculptures on each unit, statues and archways at various spots of the property really enhanced the uniqueness of Balinese culture. However,I would have appreciated cleaner bathrooms that are odour-free, more windows for natural light to come in and a cozier ambience inside. Walk-in customers would balk at the rack rate. That should be more attractively priced to encourage walk-in guests to stay. Reception area should benefit from a facelift. iIt does not reflect the beauty of the landscaping inside the property. Buffet breakfast - continental could be vastly improved. The beach however is a disappointment - contrary to the description posted on the net.

The staff are the best asset of this hotel. Location is compromised by a breakwater just off the hotel's beach frontage
